Wow first time here, we had a shared plate with pork belly, ribs, steak, chicken and a few other things. Was cooked beautiful!
Would definitely return:)

The local has been through some changes since I went when it first opened. From great food to pretty dismal.everything! But I am happy to say The Restaurant is back on its A- Game, Fresh, Tasty and filled with flavour. It is rare to find a place that takes pride in what it produces but the Kwini Local serves up a chefs delight! -Staff 5/5 - Food 5/5 - Venue 4/5.

Second dreadful experience at this place! Dined with 20 others for my nieces 16th. Ordered the Beef Cheek Pappardelle and it was a tasteless slimy concoction that I couldn’t eat after the first fork full. Told the waitress to take it away and had totally lost my appetite from the sight of it turning my stomach. I was asked if I wanted another drink and declined as I felt so squeamish. No offer of refund! I went and got popcorn chicken from KFC whilst the other guests ate.
Just terrible, terrible, terrible!

Really delicious food. Angus fillet steaks with the selected sauces were delectable. The mushroom sauce was a standout. Salad came without dressing by mistake but staff were quick to rectify. We also added the creamy garlic prawns to our steaks, not on the regular menu for the day but the kitchen were quick to accommodate. Beers were cold and wine menu covers all tastes. The atmosphere was modern and clean. We will definitely be back, maybe even next Sunday with the folks to try out the Sunday roasts which looked delicious on fellow diners plates. Ps, the staff especially front of house waitress/ bar maid were so attentive and nice!

Can’t even read the menu because the lights aren’t working. Asked for lights to be turned up but say they need them looked at.
Not sure how we’ll see what we’re eating.

$10 steak on Monday night great value, delicious and cooked to perfection. The Sunday roast was great value as well, loved the pork belly

Only reason a 4star was the wait time for food to come out. Otherwise the prices were really good for the servings you got. If you are not a big Eater I suggest sharing a meal

We waited over an hour for an entree to be served to our table, it failed to arrive despite tables who arrived after us being served mains.

Great live music venue. Surprisingly has a noise reduction around it. Saw Livewire here, ACDC tribute band. Couldn't here the music over the road at the garage

I recently used their function room for a worshop and all the participants loved the ambiance and the kindness of staff. I highly reccomend this place for meals, drinks and coffee too.

Great food and service. Great place to take the family for a feed or head to the sports bar with your mates.

Fancy little establishment, they had karaoke popping and seemed to have some cool locals, nice drinking place and it's drive thru!

Always a good night out, the staff are fantastic. Variety of entertainment on from time to time. Restaurant food in casual dining atmosphere. Usually busy so book a table ahead.

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is faultless. The restaurant is clean well presented with great atmosphere.

The new owners are the bomb, they are both working the floor, always make our family feel welcome. Every meal we have had has been 10/10 - great work boys!

We were there last night for dinner13/10/18. I was amazed how much it has changed since my last visit. Food was really good and portions are great. They had 2 function last night and cook was bit slow, we waited 50 min to eat, but we didn't mind because when it came out it was really yummmy.it has improved a lot since new management took over. Manu is a lot lot better and prices are good. Definitely worth visiting. Guys keep good work I will be there more often definitely. Thanks Billie
