Great menu, Superb Food and our Waitress/Barmaid gave us magnificent service with a smile. 28November 2023

Staff were friendly and thus was actually a surprise to us. The food was great and good sized portions. Nice clean dining area.loved it.

My parmie was fine, the chips a bit bland but certainly passable. 5 of the dishes of the people I was with were in fact just fine. Unfortunately we had two dishes of brisket which were unfortunately really dry this chewy and hard to swallow and the steak was very close to rare rather than medium rare. That would not usually be a problem but the steak wasn't the best and very chewy. Drinks atmosphere and service were all good.

The food for our function didn't come out quick enough and trying to get glasses and plates had to ask. The food was okay, but could of been better

I got x5 kilpatrick oysters @ $5 each with a scotch fillet & the size of the oysters were pretty small I think the price should be lowered as I had to move the pieces of bacon to find the oyster I couldn’t even tell if I tasted or felt the oyster in my mouth hence why I asked not to put too much sauce on them as it’s overpowering. My steak was cooked perfectly, my salad had a bug in it. The meal was Luke warm including the oyster, it’s the 3rd time it’s come out like that thinking may be it’s different chefs I don’t know but I don’t want to have to find another local restaurant or travel any further because of this hoping it’s gonna be better on my next visit otherwise I probably will find somewhere else

Everything is perfect from the food to the staff, excellent size and proportions for the price you are paying.

Eat here about every 5 weeks.the steak special are good.tasty steak, sometimes the salad has no dressing which is a shame, as it's very nice.also could have a bit more in it, so you don't have to order a side.the mushroom sauce is lovely but on our last visit it was a bit spicy.could be a little more sauce also

The entrees are AMAZING! Get the pork belly for sure! And the cheesey garlic bread wasn't soggy like some you get, it was toasted and crispy

The staff were all really nice, we got one random unexplained look from the bar lady but ‍️ it was really pretty and there was plenty of room between the tables.

The food took a little while to come out, but it tasted really good so it was worth the wait.

The only thing I could complain about was the size of the steak for the price, a little bit small however it was tasty so ‍️

Always provided good food every time I have been eating there. The special are always a good option during the week.

Excellent meal (eye fillet steak) cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Our only negative was the lighting it seemed a little darker than I would have expected.

With sharing the night with 37 friends and family of my mates 60th.the food was beautiful, look beautiful on the plate.and staff was helpful and food was brought out quick.

Visit Most weeks for a good meal as food is vey good. But menu is desperately in need of renewal as has not been changed for about 2 years.

I really got to say this was outstanding. We are kiwis fresh from NZ and it had to be the best entree of hot Turkish bread and dips and the bestest fish and chips ever like we've eaten alot in our years. The service was fantastic the pricing was spot on cause we got 2 whole fillets! Yes I said it 2 plus coleslaw, chips, dipping tartare (which was devine, better than Nana's) and everything was nice and clean honestly we can't say enough about the food and customer service Cheers to the chef " we'll be back"

Great atmosphere, bar staff are awesome to chat with while makin drinks, food is fast and yummy for pub grub, restuarant food is delish and the cocktails are. Great place to play pool or listen to the locals singing karaoke. Its my local for a reason its the best

Don, t leave your table to get a drink half way through a meal. You will come back to your table to find it cleared ready or not!

This is the favourite go-to for a good tasty feed. They know their steak! Lovely welcoming staff, the meals are generous in size, delicious and it’s a nice place to wind down at the end of the day. Nice ambience, not too noisy so you can chat easily with your dinner companion.

Wonderful lunch today with friends. The food was great. We couldn't fault the service by Mikhaila and Claire they were exceptional. Happy to go again.
