The Kingsley Tavern

The food was returned to the kitchen.it was not freshly cooked and most unenjoyable. I believe it is under renovations. Hopefully, the food may improve too. I used to love this pub.

Friendly atmosphere - Great Barmaid. Layout well thought out eg spot for smokers close to bar outside, convenience to TAB etc.

A great place for a few worry drinks. Big screen outside means you can enjoy what's on and the weather.

Steak night on Thurdays is just the best value. The steak tonight was just perfect guys. Thank you to the chefs and excellent staff.

Meal was very plain and ordinary and not very fulfilling and the size compared to other meals was very disappointing and certainly not worth the money I paid. Being vegetarian and only having a choice of two meals or a salad and one not available as they had run out so only had one choice. Shame as this is the place for Christmas and birthday parties.

Great food, casual environment and good beer selection. The perfect local. Highly recommend the Parmi special on Wednesday night.

The food was great, the ambience was absolutely amazing. Old style tavern with the classic decor. Never renovate and "update" old school charm you just don't see anywhere else now. Service was great and very reasonably priced. Generous servings, will definitely return.

Mediocre pub food, huge serves - one main is enough for two!

Plus side, they do give a container for leftovers.

The new menu is fantastic; tasty and consistent. But what keeps us coming back is the wonderful staff. Whether it's a casual date night or taking Grandma for lunch, we've never been disappointed. Keep up the good work guys, love all the small improvements you've been making to the place.

Seafood for two was great. Steak meal great. Fish and chips great. Good size drinks. Nice desserts. Everyone left happy. (that was 4 years ago) went about 6 months ago. Different menu, different chef, possibly under new management? Terrible, won't go again.

A quiet but busy Tavern. We have been to the Kingsley Tavern a few times in the past 5 years and we find it to be a welcoming place. The food is reasonably priced, well worth eating and plentiful. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We have been here as a couple and also as part of a big group and we find they always make us feel welcome.

We only come for an hour 3 times a week in the afternoon and recently found the music is too loud. We tried moving further away from the speakers but a different song playing in competition with the other speakers.what the?

My partner and I have been here several times for dinner. The service has always been good, the food has come out in a timely manner, and been of good quality with good portions sizes. The curry and steak are my favourite. They have Happy Hour too which is very reasonable. I recommend them for a good pub experience, and good value for money.
