The Kewdale Tavern

Usually very good food and enjoyable, sadly I wasn't feeling too well, found fish & chips bit too greasy for me. I'll revist again.

EDIT: Venue manager kindly rang to apologize and offer a meal on house. Much appreciated. Staff ought to realize how their actions can do their employers a disservice. Owners and managers suffer as a result. Willing to give them another go if ever iin the area again.

Drive through advertised add truck size. Go through there with truck and no food or coffee available at 2.30pm. Park up and go into tavern. Stand at front counter for 10 mins while staff ignore us. Staff finaly tell us (after we say we'd like something to eat) to take a seat. Then he comes out and tells us sorry the entire kitchen has left for an hour. Not even an offer of something simple like a toasted sandwich. What kind of business has all the staff abandon the kitchen at the same time at 2.30pm when you have a busy drive through and restaurant?

Great atmosphere, great service. The Seafood Hotpot was a little small, but OK.
One star off as the bread and butter pudding is super yuck.

Great, delicious seasonal menu. Very inventive and ambitious for a pub that's right smack in Welshpool's industrial area. Well-curated flavours that translate to food that's well thought out and well delivered.

Good atmosphere and excellent outdoor area.can easily relax with friends and have a few quiet ones.

Great events held here with a huge selection of bourbon if that quenches your thirst, food is great for pub food well above what you would expect in am industrial estate
