The Kewdale Tavern reviews
66Good spot for Lunch with friends and colleagues. Great menu, good range to suit everyone. Meals were top quality and served quickly by friendly & attentive staff.
The steak burger was letz just throw all the stuff in it and charge 27$ small amount of chips and random sauce on the side
Had our daughters 21st here last night. The food was excellent and most of all the staff both bar & kitchen were so accommodating & went above & beyond to ensure our night was a success. Big thanks, we’d highly recommend you guys!
Pretty average. Ordered the meat platter and it was extremely mediocre to say the least. Not terrible by any means, but definitely nothing to write home about.
Nice place food was good and was standard pub pricing, there's a gaming corner (TV with ps1) for older kids but not much for young ones
Huge portions. Well priced and delicious. Almost everything has a gluten free option. My only gripe is being too full to try deserts
Loved the ribs! Generous serving, and prompt friendly service. Some VERY noisy patrons, but that wasn't the Taverns fault.
Went on a Sunday afternoon to play some tabletop games with friends. The owner is very welcoming of players and there are nice big tables to play on.
I was pleasantly surprised by how many beers and ciders are on tap. The chips and wedges we got for the table were good. There's a seated restaurant area for main meals.
It's a good place for families. There's a corner set up to entertain the kids with a TV and gaming console and toys/games. I noticed a kids menu as well.
My friend and I had come to The Kewdale Tavern for a work function for a few drinks and a meal. We ordered two medium-rare ribeye on the bones priced at $39 each. The steak was presented drowned in a "mushroom gravy" which had the consistency of water, the mash was bland and lumpy, as well as the steak being not cooked very well. I would not recommend the steak because, for the price, you can get a much better steak elsewhere. Other than that, the service, drinks and atmosphere was overall good.
Great feed not just for the coeliacs or gluten free people. Great range to choose from the bar as well.
The cellar rations attached has a great selection of craft beers and an enthusiastic staff on hand to help out!
It's a nice pub when i went it was knock off time and very busy, as you could imagine have to have a short wait for a beer in saying that it's an exelent place for a sneaky pint before the long drive home.
With a fantastic bottle shop to company along side the pub and wide variety of beer, craft beer, wine and spirits and great staff to match.
Cheers for the quicky kewdale and see ya next time
Although in the middle of an industrial area, Kewdale Tavern is definately worth paying a visit. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, some drinks are cheap and the inside is cosy and modern industrial.
Nice pub, the meals looked really good but quite expensive, being in a quite industrial area could do with a gool old steak egg and chips, or all day breakfast, but a nice pleasant bar none the less
Had our work Christmas Doo here first time I been good bar has an awesome wiskey wall behind the bar so many different drinks to try
Had our work Xmas party, food was below average. Service was very slow. Aircon didn't seem to be working. We definitely won't be returning.
I really like this pub. The food in general is pretty good, my fish and chips were slightly overcooked but the rest of my party cleaned their plates.
Good choice of bourbons!
Amazing food, great area and friendly staff specially the blonde girl with a glasses unfortunately I don’t know her name however it’s a enjoyable pub and restaurant
Amazing food. Amazing service. One girl shines above to rest. I didnt catch her name but read hair with glasses. Will be coming back
