The Grove Distillery reviews
73 A place we visit regularly when in the region! This place always lives up to our expectations.
Upon tasting the rum, whisky and gin (at a small cost) by the educated employees.
With large and small bottles to suit everyone’s budget. Don’t miss out!
My experience was sensational, the barman (his 2nd day) was so professional it was refreshing. Will certainly be recommending as an outing. Went for tastings only.
Just stayed in the wonderful Chardonnay chalet, it was fantastic and spacious, very secluded feeling with wonderful views from your spa looking out over the vineyards. Everything you need for a home away from home feeling was included and we were extremely happy and relaxed staying here. Just what we needed!
Had an absolutely amazing experience at the grove distillery today. Great friendly service and delicious tasting alcohol with the server behind the bar being very knowledgeable with different pairings. Will definitely be back
Went with friends to do spirits tasting. This was completed at the bar which would have been fine for a few people. This was a group of seven so took a while to get through us all.
There wasn't much else here so we left shortly after.
Great to see the ladies and enjoy the distilled delights.
But, character is waning…. No drop bears and the lack of crocs on the lake is disappointing. Bring back the crocs…. Possibly your sense of humour as well!
Not sure about the rooms, didn't stay there. But a big rating and recommendation for Elizabeth, she was awesome. Bloody good spirits and beer, served by Elizabeth, her personality is contagious. She is one of the few people in this world that can, just by their presence, make you feel good. I highly recommend a visit to The Grove.
5/5 stars for everything. We came out here on a public holiday, it was open so we sat for a liquor tasting and a tasting plate. The service was absolutely amazing 6/5 stars, the two lovely ladies behind the bar went above and beyond to accomodate us. They engaged in conversations with us not only regarding the liquor but about our lives as well, making us feel super comfortable and happy. The liquor was incredible, we all walked away with at least one bottle. The tasting plate was incredible as well, the flavours were balanced beautifully and was enough for 3 adults. I couldn’t recommend the grove more.
Magic place, comfortable accommodation peace and quiet walking though bush.
Friendly staff at the distillery brewary and great spirits and beer. Highly recommend a visit.
Fantastic little afternoon visit at The Grove. Yes the liquors and speciality drinks were delicious, but the entertaining conversations with the staff were most memorable! Definitely a great place to visit!
The lady that served us was absolutely lovely and accomodating! I’d highly recommend the liquor tasting experience as you really get try a lot of different flavours at a very reasonable price of $15
I tried the
-Turkish delight
-Limoncello
-Coconut
Highly recommended each one of these
Wonderful service, delicious drinks and amazing foods. The grove staff are 10/10 for communication when explaining their drinks to customer. They seem to pride themselves pairing to a group and making that group seem super welcomed and personalising the experience. I can understand late comers and "karens" being mad about lack of service but that's why you make bookings and organise the trip better.
All of the liquors and spirits are immaculate, tasty and mix super well with one another. Definitely recommend the Turkish delight with dry ginger ale.
We also tried a share platter, all of it was fresh and paired well with the drinks.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Unique liquors, delicious and special, especially the turkish delight and butterscotch liquor.
Lovely setting, good gin (that's all we tasted). The salt and pepper squid was excellent and can definitely recommend. A couple more varieties of gin would be nice.
Funny, friendly and welcoming staff.
Liqueur tasting is well worth it, turning your 3 choices into simple but tasteful mini cocktails.
Their new hard lemon 5% is really nice and refreshing with a meal.
My mates and I made sure we had a stop on our wine tour to the grove. Great booze, Friendly staff, especially Steve who makes the whole experience hilarious!
They have recently got new chef and the food in the Cafe is delicious
I took a client there for a visit and she was thrilled! The lady we had for our tastings was exceptional. The only drawback was the un-wheelchair-friendly front entrance. This was rectified quickly by the staff and some other lovely patrons.
Fabulous experience at The Grove for a mid week wine tour with the girlies, Steve the owner entertained us with his wonderfully dry sense of humor and had us in fits of laughter from the moment we arrived.the liqueurs were bloody good too! Can't wait to visit again.
One of the few places in Margret River and surrounds that will happily serve you a cheese board in the same area you are tasting. Highly recommended for those looking for unique ports and liqueurs, or even a splash of rum and whiskey. Friendly, invested staff and great food specials to match. Worth the visit!
Loved our experience yesterday at The Grove. Visited as part of a Bushtucker Tour. Greg was amazing and so helpful and friendly! Thanks Greg! Xx
