The Greenwood Hotel

Positives: Been a customer for 17+ years. Good food and service. Friendly staff. Modern and clean. Plenty of free parking. Not so great: The restaurant has all hard surfaces so it's a noisy place. Not much for young children to do apart play outside on the stairs. Overall, a nice enough dinning venue.

Been coming for the last 10yrs, some of the food quality has went down. The American style ribs was disappointing. The been boiled and smothered in sauce, sauce didnt make it taste better. I told them that and was no refund. Ended up asking for doggy bag, they have no container and wrapped it in aluminium foil. I suppose my bulldog will appreciate the ribs.

I went there for a wake after the funeral and we had an area reserved for us but the hotel was buzzing. I will deffo return to enjoy such a lively hotel.

There was a bit if trouble that seemed to take forever to sort out. Overall not bad but something needs to be done about the drunks

The Greenwood hotel has a public bar that is a unique setup which feels very homely and cozy, they have good pint/food deals and HAPPY HOUR ON SUNDAY! WINNING!

Venue ok good staff service. Private function room.good as previous but needed one extra staff bar tender.
Meal was a bit lack lustre steak dry and over cooked orvthe price plus the caesar salad tasteless with too much dressing.

Large servings and good pub food. Not many lighter options. Everyone's meals were tasty. When it's busy service is a bit slower

Four people for lunch and meal was ok. Seniors Pie was just that. A warm pie but not in a bowl. Might of been cooked in kitchen but I doubt it. Other meals just average. Disappointed.

Food was ok we were there for a 50th birthday the waitresses was in a rush to get food to you one of them dropped a meal down on the table it made a big clatter it made us all turn to her she just walked off when we went to the table we told the waitresses we had 15 people not 17 she said great the less the better not what you need to hear so we just eat the food and left we want be going there again

Always a nice place to eat. Great food. Lovely staff and great service. It is nice to have a local pub where you know you will receive a nice meal. Need to make a booking for evenings though to guarantee a table.

Went to the Green wood for my daughters 21st birthday the staff are awesome so is the manger Erin, they could not do enough for us, the food was great and always love going to this pub even though it takes us 45 minutes to get there highly recommended.

Went for mothers day lunch.food was great, drinks were great and service is quick and the guys are always checking on you Incas you need anything.location is lovely.

Great food, good family friendly atmosphere, staff are lovely and reasonable pricing. Will for sure be going back again and again

Would normally give it 5 stars but the last two times I’ve been, Tim has served me and he’s been rude and arrogant to both me and other customers. Very unlike the standard worker you guys have. Keep up the good work.

Went there for my auntiee birthday party. Thw environment is really good and felt really comfy. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and ribs and wings. The wings were really dry, I do prefer wings with sauce covered on it. The ribs were alright, I definitely had better and the chips were your average pub chips. My mother complained that her crispy pork belly was to dry as it is deep fried. The only thing I really enjoyed was the salt and pepper squid. Amazing staff however the food service was slow. I understand it was really busy on a Saturday night. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again. A tip is make your wings not dry and add chives and that spicy sauce over it.

Best place for family dinner. Very friendly staff and everyone greets you with smile. Decent portions and lot of specials. Kids friendly and lot of activities. Nice selection of cakes. We have been there couple of times. Will definitely recommend them for your family parties/ dinners.

Our meals were delicious, we had squid, steak, salad and kids meals of sliders and parmi. The service was great, bar staff great and a big shout to our waitress Dee who looked after us and the kids, exceptional service, thank you Dee

It was horrible, the portion sizes are ridiculous
My partner had the rump steak the other flavour it had was one of burnt charcoal and found cardboard underneath the chicken Wellington
Will not be eating here again

Good beer and cocktail range staff n security are helpful n happy outdoor area is great even in the colder months good heating

The menu is so small McDonald's have twice as much and as for the food pretty average and that's me being nice, I won't ever go to that bistro even if they giving free meals
