On behalf of Joondalup Outlaw Softball club I would like to thank the Greenwood Tavern for hosting our presentation night in the function room. A big high five to to all the staff especially Mitch behind the bar who went out of his way to ensure we were catered for with all beverages even the ladies with coffee's, if there wasn't a type of spirit available Mitch would go and get one from another bar. I was especially impressed with Mitch's sharp memory of whom was drinking what as i couldn't even remember LOL
Great to see staff that love there job & aim to please.
I am sure we will be back with our next function.

Came with family for lunch. The food was overall pretty good except for the pasta. Chorizo pasta came with some sausage which was not chorizo. Also was over charged and a was ballache to sort out.

Service really bad, some food cold and chicken still raw. Coffee arrived an hour after ordering, forgot about the cup of tea, had to go and ask for it. Then it was left on counter.

Good food and portion size, service very well, clean premises. Have eaten for dinner a few years ago there and the noise does echo off the wall of your in the corner, hard to have a conversation, but if in the open it is quite nice.

Food was great, when it actually came 45 minutes later.
No mention of wait time just sat us down and left us to wait.

Food good but they don't tell you if you rather have wedges instead of chips they charge an extra $5
Not good

This place has gone down hill big time.
Pimms & Lemonade, they can’t even put some some fruit in it, nor garnish it.
Piña colada, taste like water.
The prosciutto and rocket salad I’m still chasing the prosciutto around the plate, and I got more rocket than what’s in a veggie garden.
My husband had the ribs and made the comment I’m not really sure of his ribs on meeting here as they are so tough.
The tables need a really good scrub and clean as they are so sticky.

The whole experience was terrible and would definitely strongly recommend that you do not waste your time nor money in eating at the Greenwood Tavern.

Very nice pub. We had the scotch fillet and baramundi. All was very good. Atmosphere in restaurant area is good and not too loud.

The food was cold, inconsistent portions, boiled ribs generally very poor food at expensive prices

Poor, disappointing.

Wednesday's Specials
1. Mussels - sauce straight from the bottle, very raw taste. Mussels cooked separately, sauce just poured over cooked mussels.

2. Fish and Chips- portion size is a kids meal size. Fish is half the size of your local fish and chips. For $18 and a special, it is really poor.

3. Side salad - Limp salad leaves, drooping over bowl. Not accetable.

Food was okay, have had much better there over the years. $15 for a glass of wine seems quite steep.

A higher class establishment with quality food and service while not being overly expensive for the food. Good for dates or family events

Very disappointing food. We waited 45 minutes for our food. My partners steak was undercooked and mash was cold. My mother's chilli mussels were cooked from frozen. I asked for the vegan option for the pesto gnocchi. I got penne pasta instead which I wasn't told.
My only reason for giving 2 stars is that the wait staff were really great. Di and Anne were so helpful and attentive. Great customer service! Shame the kitchen couldn't follow suit

Waitress were lovely and genuinely cared about our experience. Food tastes good enough. Size of barra 2inch by 1inch, 3 prawns and 2 sweet potato chips for $40 ridiculous.

2021: completely stuffed the menu. Really sad. Has been my local for 5 yrs, even had my 50th here this year.
Gutted the staff and a ruined a great place for food.
Unfortunate about Rugby Union air rights; has me looking for a new local.

2018: Great basic family meals. The staff are generally pretty bloody good. Never had a bad night or meal there.

2018: Really good pub and restaurant.
Great for the family or a good straight forward and economical dinner.
Had a fantastic birthday bash for my partner and friends here too.
***Update:
Megan. OMGosh. What a trooper. Best of the best.

One of our local venues. The food is good, priced well and staff are always friendly and helpful. We will be going back again.

They squeezed us in for early doors which was good of them, ok pub grub, lacking any wow factor.

Porterhouse was asked for medium cooked and was medium rare, so the fat was not rendered and it was a little chewy.

Eye fillet was not consistent medium rare throughout and you would think that a Steakhouse owned by The ALH chain would want to get it spot on.

I was also dissappointed with the Guinness too so overall I think 4 stars is being very generous.
