The Good Grocer South Perth IGA reviews
55Best in Perth for Gourmet fine foods, pre cook meals and selection of products. Staff are Aclass and friendly
Amazing range of products- I also love the fresh flowers out the front! Relatively small store but amazing produce, I really enjoy my trips here! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I noticed today that the raclette cheese sold there is from the Heidi farm located in Tasmania, Australia as per label on the cheese. However, the label on the wrapping by the good grocer indicates clearly "Product of France". This is very disrespectful to the customers.
Great selection of fresh produce and ready to go meals. Don't forget to choose from the sumptuous selection of cheeses and desserts.
I was expecting much better. Bought a few items for a lunch on-the-go for me and my family. The salad and fruit platter were very nice but the sausage rolls and pies were horrible. Ordered two sausage rolls and was given two vegetarian rolls and have no idea what was in them but it was dry and tasteless. Both of the pies we bought (Potato and Pepper Steak) were really bad. Bits of gristle in every bite. Neither my wife or I could eat them. I would have been better off buying a pie from the servo next door. Not good enough, especially for the price.
Amazing store loads of variety and fresh produce and in usual stock to be found. Cakes were fabulous. Style of store is modern but friendly.
Ritzy, Overpriced and not a great range except for ready made meals. Some good stuff but you'd never grocery shop here unless you were on a six figure salary.
Prices are pretty high & similar to coles and woolies might as well just go to Aldi if you can get there.
Fantastic selection of produce, displayed beautifully throughout the store. The wine box has some of the most beautiful wines that are not your run of the mill kinds. The only thing that prevents me from giving a 5 star is it's a tad expensive.but worth a few visits ;)
Place is good, slight turnover so never always a regular face to be seen but the service is always great.
Love the fresh produce and the range. Moderately priced but love my local grocer. Fantastic service from all the team.
Disappointing! We pay top money here very expensive! Yet, we tried to support them cos of the 24/7 service but Been disappointed every time. Watch out for the expiry date too.
High end, clean, trendy supermarket.
Sells quality fruit and produce, fresh meals (salads, fruit platters, hot foods, roast chicken), processed foods and snacks, and everything a normal supermarket has.
Prices range, but are generally higher than average. They have good sales at times, so check out their catalogue. Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags.
Located in a very small, but new shopping mall in a high end, touristy area.
Amazing IGA, the best in Perth, huge range of goods, massive product variety and the staff are friendly. Not to mention the free samples. Oh the free samples
I used to go here when was the old IGA in 2013 (which was basic and had dubious service quality). Now refurbished into a top class supermarket, with goods/services/customer service - all well suited to the South Perth market.
It is very convenient for tourist like me to do late night shopping because usually other stores has closed by 6pm. The quality of the products it offers is very good and organised.
Wow, been a local since they reopened! Their beef rib burgers and good grocer sausages are amazing. Ruth in the liquor store KNOWS her stuff. Provide feedback and they action! Love love love!
I can never understand why I keep coming back to this IGA above all others. It's a bit of a difficult location to get into being located on a one way street next to the Labouchere Road/freeway interchange and everything is ridiculously expensive but despite this complaints, I still keep coming here.
I mean, it IS open 24 hours and has plenty of underground parking with first hour free (be sure to take a ticket or else you won't be able to get out). The range is what you'd expect from IGA. Not quite as comprehensive as Karawara, a bit more in line with Leederville. The presentation is outstanding. I quite enjoy the ambient low lighting in the store and they always have the sickest trip-hop playing on the store radio. There's also several bain maries in the middle of the store with a variety of fresh food to eat.
Unfortunately, as mentioned, prices are more expensive than most other supermarkets and I honestly feel like I need a bank roll to shop there sometimes but I think the reasoning behind why I enjoy this place so much is the actual experience of shopping there rather than the physical product line. This place certainly is an experience no matter what time of the day and as it's located directly next to South Perth Foreshore, you get the most amazing views of the CBD visible from the front entrance at night time.
Best thing about this place is the amazing deli. I eat here nearly everyday, my favourite is the Tuna Mornay and I always ask for it when I get there. Staff are incredibly nice as well. I love the pastry section too. To the people complaining that the store is expensive, well that's because everything here is QUALITY. Plus this is South Perth what do you expect? If you don't want expensive items, go do your shopping in Aldi at Mirrabooka or Armadale.
