Good, old fashioned country pub. Good selection of beers and a reasonable variety of meals.

Just visited for lunch and while the staff were great the food wasn't. It usually is but this time it was pretty horrible. My partner had the grilled fish and chips and the fish came out very dry like it was frozen and then cooked straight away and had no flavour. We also ordered kipatrick oysters which were old and stuck you couldn't slide them into your mouth. I ordered the Thai beef salad which they forgot and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for after they brought out my partner's fish. The Thai beef salad was gross they just threw some glass noodles on the plate with sauce and beef and the noodles hadn't been cooked so they were dry. Don't think we will be coming back for food but we will for drinks.

I don't come here. It's a place that is still stuck in the 20th century. Very outdated and rough.

Inexpensive and located near the free RV parking area at the port. Wine a bit on the high side but that's comparing it with some country pubs who'd rather sell more.

Decent price for huge fatty T-bone steak and pint of beer. Plenty space outdoor. If you visit on Thursday, they may have skimpy working at the bar.

Went there with 3 other ladies and we all had salad on our plates. It was absolutely disgusting. It was unwashed and slimey and had black slime on the leaves. Gross. Won't rush back there again. Shame because the venue itself is actually quite pleasant and the staff were really so lovely.

Overall toxic place to be at.took 2 seconds longer than usual to get my ID and the lad behind says "He'll show you his Onlyfans too" Not a great place for anyone new to town

Great friendly staff, food is always good and the beers cold my favourite place to enjoy a quite beer and feed.

The chicken was unusual. Shiny, rubbery, and processed as though it had been frozen for some time. Certainly not fresh. Good atmosphere and decent weekly specials, though!

Packed out Friday arvo - why? Skimpies! Seriously though beer is beer but they've got a TAB and a very pleasant beer garden complete with local band

Order 3 meals, including 2 children, was not advised there would be a wait due to "no qualified chefs in the kitchen" I was told this after enquiring of the whereabouts for our meals after 45mins.
Was told they had been advising of the wait but must have forgotten to tell me. I would write it on the special board at the kitchen so people could see this prior to ordering and lining up.

Good value lunches. You can dine inside or in the beer garden, which has shade and an outside bar.
Sometimes has evening entertainment there.

Great place to meet up with people
Best in Geraldton bit of everything just need some gaming machines.
Lots of space, not cramped
Food is pretty good for price

The good was excellent. The steak cooked perfectly and to my liking. I will definitely be back again.

Hi all,
The Geraldton Hotel…great back yard for live bands and cold drinks, space to spread out and bring large groups to party. Smoking allowed almost everywhere outside, which in most cases is pretty awesome because other places subject you to a single corner in an area, which sucks…Inside bar is a little cramped when there’s a decent crowd and access to the TAB in there is also the same, gets warm in there when there’s a few people in there, so get the cool breeze outside, its heaps better. Would go back for the “face” value entertainment there. Cheers.

Had a great Lunch today Steak, Chips and Salad with mushroom sauce it was Beautiful ️. The service I received I could not Fault it was excellent. The pricing on the menu on all the meals from a full Steak, Salad and Chips to the Chicken Parma on to the smaller sized meals I find extremely Fair. I will always give
The Geraldton Hotel a Full 5 STARS every time without Fail.

Just had the grilled barramundi was absolutely superb and good on the Chef cane out and asked our opinions because she had tried something new and was looking for feedback sign of someone who cares well done

Absolutely fantastic meal. Everything was fresh and well cooked and the beers were cold. Had a great night and highly recommend the gero hotel if you are looking for somewhere to eat and relax in geraldton

Not a bad spot, great beer garden, inside is ok with tab. The quiz night was a good night Wednesday
