A traditional Pub but of course is part of the James Squire family Brewery, you can be part of the Beer Club and you should visit Generous Squire in your next visit to Perth. If you ask me one of the best beers There is Fifty lashes ohhhh amazing.

Fantastic communication from Jacqueline, 5 stars! We have had our Company Christmas Parties here many times and the experience and service we received were fantastic! Highly recommended!

With a large selection of in-house brewed beers the Squire is the go to place for tourists and some locals alike. Boasting a large amount of choice on tap there something for everyone. Bartenders are always willing to recommend to your pallet and with a large enough area upstairs and downstairs for large groups it's the perfect place to start in Perth.

Brisket burger was excellent, husband wanted to order second one, but out of time. Cheeseburger (non-brisket) overcooked and bland. Beer selection good, husband enjoyed Little Creatures Pale Ale. Not sure of establishment name, as menus say, Durty Nelly's. As a visitor to Australia, we didn't realize you had to go inside to order. We noticed that at a number of places, but not all. Outside seating under cover nice, but warm when no breeze down lane. Liked the old Guinness advertisements on walls and restroom clean.

Great range of tap beers covering all the classic squire range as well as custom micro brews that vary throughout the year. A nice selection of pub grub for lunch with fancier options for dinner. It has a stylish modern decor and is always a fantastic place to end up

Stunning $8 XPA pints price. Went here with a mate for a drink and feed before the tennis. Both ordered the parm. Absolutely average and $26 for it. Not in this economy, overpriced for one of the great stinkers of a parm. I have quite a high parmy expectation having been to the Lo Zucchero's, Durty Nelly's etc of Perth and this cannot compete. Other than that good spot

Very busy most evenings. Great food. Loved the pork belly. Great service and awesome beers on taps. Not sure if good families with kids place is very crowded and little room to move around for kids.

Very poor quality food so not an enjoyable experience. Dirty Nellie's nearby is far better for a drink and if you are hungry then Grill'd is next door and has great food at half the price

Always great food, no matter how busy they are. The staff are always friendly and a great atmosphere for a few drinks, lunch or dinner! Definitely a must stop!

Nice beer, but too much cigarette smoke and nicotine vaporiser stench drifting around to make the place enjoyable.

Had dinner here. Atmosphere and food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their 150 lashes beer was smooth and refreshing.

As expected it's a great pub to come to after a long day at work for a few drinks and a meal before heading home. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. It has a truly pub vibe and does get busy; that aside I tried out their porterhouse steak (rare) and inhouse larger, delicious in both accounts, with my steak cooked correctly. Would happily eat here again, next I work at Perth.

For a place that "specialises" in beer, they really seem to make every effort to give you the minimum amount they can get away with in a pint. They are not interested in the art of pouring a great beer, even the Manager was quoted as saying that was the minimum they needed. Poor form for a full priced pint establishment. Food was ok though, so not all bad.

Staff are friendly and the vibe is always relaxed and warm in this very busy pub. Arrived just as the singer was finishing her last set of relaxed tunes for the busy Saturday night and even though it was close to closing time the staff still seemed happy to please and on the ball. Perfect spot for a late night bevvie with a more mature, less dramatic crowd.

Safe pub option with lots of good beer choices but there are definitely more exciting options somewhere else in the city.

OMG the burger the custom brews. It's bit lively for me on a Friday Saturday night but beautifully civilized any other time good food good beer with a new one every month on tap. Only think I could criticize would be the music I took my dad and whatever they where playing dropped the F bomb every chores otherwise a great place to go out.

Went in for a lunchtime parmy, burnt on the bottom, crum was soggy from the sause just sitting on it and the whole thing lacked flavour. Thin chips not the thick ones you normally get at a pub (personal preference I guess). Apart from that it's a great looking place, nice and friendly atmosphere, staff where pleasant. Would go back for a pint once I'm off the clock but not to get food again.
