The Earl of Spencer Historic Inn - Bar & Restaurant reviews
62Food was amazing and cheap and came out quick staff were very friendly. Would eat again for sure
By far the best pub I have visited, the food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic, the guinness was superb.
Great food, exceptional value for money. The service was great, these guys really deserve 6 stars. We had a great meal! Thank you
What a great place. Despite being mega busy they squeezed us in for a meal. The meal deal was great with a pint included. Even better and a nice surprise were the kids meals were free! Not just some nuggets and oven chips, but a proper small Parmie. Enough to fill my 11yo.
Service was with a smile, a great atmosphere and delicious food! Would recommend to everyone, but book ahead!
Was a great place to sit n eat with our two little kids. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!
I will do my full review later, but so far it has been. Interesting.
Watching the owner clean a table with the floor broom was.interesting.
Watching the owner put a reservation on our table after we'd been sitting there for 30 minutes was. Interesting.
We did have plans to eat here. But felt like we weren't welcome.
The food looked good though and they do have an independent English ale on tap which is super cool.
Rest of the beer selection is terrible though. Needs more local beer.
Unfortunately we witnessed locals bullying an older lady who in the end had to move tables. Don't know history of this group but bullying is not acceptable in any way. We spoke to the group and had a difference of opinion. I hope the pub does something about this antisocial behaviour and the lack of social distancing with this group of people.
I went there on my last day at Albany and it was the best restaurant I had in my stay. Good casual feel & the staff were great. I had the fillet beef (rare) & it was delicious. Don’t miss it!
Great pub, food and atmosphere the "pie & pint"one of the best pies I've tasted ever, well worth a visit if your down this way
We went there after my father's funeral and the atmosphere was good except the area was crowded with some political party making speeches and such. Drinks and food enjoyed by all and atmosphere improved once politician left.
Great food and big servings in the main meals we had. I like the atmosphere, similar to that I have experienced in the pubs in England. Excellent value with a pint included in some meals.
Great pub. Truly pub atmosphere. Great selection of drinks, both beer and wine and an awesome food. Fully recommended.
This is the place you should start your Friday night bender then work your way down the street food is nice drinks by the fire and real tavern style place
Such a cool place.so much character. It is really cosy.with lovely open fires. Great vibes, music & really good selection of beers. Next time we will try the food. I have told it's really good.
Excellent atmosphere. Food 50/50. Partner had a big burger he really enjoyed. I had lamb shank. Dry! Asked for some extra sauce or jus and the chef heated up tinned tomatoes. Was disgusting!
Great atmosphere wood fires
Great range of beers and ciders
Good pub food the stand outs at our table being beef and Guinness pie and the beef ribs
Good range of beers on tap pleasant atmosphere with 3 fireplaces
Better than the usual pub food at reasonable prices with some vego vegan choice (beetroot salad is good) tables limited so best to book to avoid disappointment
Cute historic pub close to the centre of Albany. Open fire makes for a great atmosphere in winter, reminiscent of a British pub. Good selection of beers including local offerings.
Probably one of my favourite pubs in WA.
The food was absolutely fantastic real food, great pub, amazing atmosphere, crackling wood fires great beer on tap, we found this place on our last night in Albany wish I had found it sooner our Steak in Guiness Pie & Chips were so delicious would highly recommend
