I definitely recommend the Duke for lunch and or dinner outings. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and they regularly change up the Specials. Great Service, with different entertainment or themed days and they have a loyalty card which makes your visit even sweeter. Also conveniently located across from Carramar Shopping Centre, so grabbing a pint before grocery shopping makes it way more interesting!
Food always good. Staff always great. As regulars we are always recognised with a smile.
But last few visits the coffee has been disappointing to say the least.my coffee was always my finishing cup of satisfaction.but of late, I think the coffee needs an overhaul whether it be the equipment or the barista.something isn't right. The coffee used to be deliciously brewed and full bodied but now it's weak and disappointing to say the least.
Good atmosphere and friendly Bar staff. Have live music here too reasonably regularly which is great. Not a big venue by any means but has a nice feel to it.
Normally rate the Duke 5 star but food was not nice at all yesterday. Ordered Risotto but couldn't eat it as was flavorless and looked more like a bowl of vomit. Chicken Parmigiana was a let down aswel. Big dissapointment.
Great decor, leather chairs, toilets. I got the $15 steak special it was pretty grisly but the food came out quick and the kids servings are huge!
I had a Guinness pie and beef burger. Love this atmosphere but Guinness pie was absolutely amazing. I always wanna have a beautiful Guinness pie finally find it! Definitely comeback and gonna order again this baeutiful dish:)
Steak was chewy and topper was served separately. They said some people like it served separately but I wasn't even asked. As a result I ended up with too much sauce so it was chewy and messy. I had too ask another waitress for a fork, apparently I was supposed to grab one from the cutlery table but how was I supposed to know? Also children shouldn't be tabled on their own They should be seated with an adult at licensed venues. I don't know what the staff are thinking
