Never again. I ordered takeaway butter chicken and got home to find out the container was full of sauce with hardly any chicken.
I had to make something else.

Thank you making us (Uber or doordash drivers) feel like a slave.worst behavior by one of your staff people. Don't know what makes you feel like we are lower class people than you.

Should have zero ratings.staff is unprofessional and there was too much delay in food.it was not that much busy still they ask every customer wait for 2 mins 5 mins still not on tym

Ordered over the phone and the food never turned up. Waited two hours after being told one hour as they were busy. Took our money straight away. Called multiple times from different phones and was either hung up on or not answered. Had to drive there to see what was going on after 9pm. They didn’t seem to care as it was still there. Dined in once and was a good experience. Won’t order through them again.

Staff do not listen clearly on orders and it takes a 15 minute to explain what we after. I was so unimpressed by the service here. I ordered takeaway and was told 30 minutes, I arrived 40 minutes after and it wasn’t ready. I could tell by the awkward way the service staff said it is ‘almost’ ready (and from past experience with this restaurant) that it was going to take a while. I went away and came back 15 minutes later and it still was not ready. Waitress not paying attention and was busy on her phone by using different language which highly embarrassed. After sitting around for a while and upon return a further 10 minutes later I went in and it was finally ready. Well, over an hour later. After 1 hour 20 minutes when I went home I noticed I got a wrong dish. Then I call back to the restaurant and even waitress can’t understand English properly and hung up the phone several times. I spent over $50 and furious at the time it has taken me some time to decide whether to write a review, but it is not just good enough. Not recommended at all.

WORST SERVICE! We ordered on uber eats. They said it would be 45 minutes which then changed to an hour and 5 minutes. We could see in the app a driver had arrived to collect but he didn't leave the restaurant. Then the app said the restaurant needed another half hour. A different driver arrived at the restaurant to collect then almost ANOTHER 10 minutes later we got another message saying that our order had been cancelled! We called the restaurant and no one even answered the phone. Would give zero stars if I could.

I have never been to a more unorganised restaurant in my life. Not answering the business phone, Constantly getting orders wrong, blaming the customer/others for wrong orders, and not providing a full refund when explained it would. Disgusting behaviour. Didn’t appreciate the smirk on the waiters face when attempts were made to rectify errors. Wouldn’t waste time here!

I ordered a vegetarian samosas, momos and aloo paratha. Everything was bland, couldn’t taste any flavours. The only thing that had flavour was the momos sauce. Very disappointed with the experience.

Good is really good but it’s really loud with world music and getting a take away order on a Saturday night? Forget it. They don’t answer the phone. Called 4x. Money is money, got to handle all leads.

The food was badly prepared, not much flavour.the chicken momo didn’t taste nice.and overall the food was overpriced and not well flavoured.

My litmus test of any Indian Restuarant is it’s chicken tikka, unfortunately this placed failed miserably and when I say failed it was the worst Tikka I have ever tasted. I make better tikka at home, as for the tandoor which it is supposedly cooked in well I question this as well. Indian food is simple so this restuarant failed for this dish which is a traditional delight.
Service was good no complaints lamb korma was basic as for the chilli pickle well again a supermarket jar of the same would serve the purpose.
I would not recommend this Indian restuarant for a culinary Indian taste bud experience, but if you are simple with your food choices and not versed in good Indian cuisine then give it a go, plenty of people were there for take away so for a basic Indian experience over to you! Good luck

I always used to order from here. Yesterday I ordered for a pick up as lately the restaurant always shows closed on uber eats. The order was egg fried rice and they gave chicken fried rice, which was not very professional I guess. Disappointed.

Came here with high expectations from the reviews. Bitterly disappointed.decor is very tired, obviously a pizza place in its former life. A few pictures of Nepal and India does not make the place authentic. Service was non-existent even though it was quiet. The one waitress obviously did not want to be there. 20 minutes to take our order and a further 30 mins before the starters came. Over an hour and a half for two courses. The food is good but not worth the wait. The place is NOT licensed as stated on their website, byo. Been there done that. Probably never again.

Solid 3/5. Service dull, food plain, too saucy. Tasted ok. No real spices, took a while. Expensive. Lack of veggies. Entree lamb was 10/10. Had 3 different curries and they were all so similar. Mentos were good though. Took 50.

Food is delicious HOWEVER.the service is not great.as in demeanor of staff.and too often issues with food taking much longer than advised.last time I ordered (one dish) they told me I could pick it up in 15-20 minutes from time of ordering. I purposely left my house after 20min to ensure I would not be waiting. 40+ minutes later they finally handed me my food with zero apologies for the wait.during the long wait I just made the decision not to come back.the copper chimney is just around the corner and they are excellent. I've really only been going to Darbar because of convenience of parking for pick ups

Good - the sizzling eggplant dish was amazing.the Bombay aloo was nice too

The bad - service was woeful from the minute we sat down to the 20 minute wait for no masala chai (had to remind the guy working there) only for him to rush off and make the worst chai I've ever had. They didn't charge me for it.speaking of charging me for it I literally stood at the desk waiting to pay and leave for 10 mins. Rang the bell.walked to the kitchen and said hello several times without being answered.

I passed on this information to the waitress when we eventually paid.

We took byo, and got a discount from the entertainment book so the meal was rather cheap. I'd say this place has potential, but tonight wasn't one to brag about

Lovely welcoming staff and delicious food! Never had anything like the sizzling tandoori eggplant before and the potato curry was super tasty. Would recommend!

Unfortunately this restaurant was not open when they say they are. Ordered online and received text message from 'eat now' that order cancelled. They do not answer the phone and now I don't have money for lunch as takes 24 hours for refund to come through. Very disappointed as usually enjoy food from here. Would have at least been better if they could have given a reason to eat now service than just to blank their customers.
Update: money came back to my account so now I can afford dinner (still had no lunch). Decided to order from here as I know the food is okay. Called to order and the exact same order was quoted at more than the online price. Seems a bit backwards as it's a 3rd party app and I prefer to give my money direct to businesses wherever possible, but I'm not going to pay more to do so. Added an extra curry for my house mate and the overall online price is still less than quoted on the phone.
Raised my 1 star to 3 stars purely for the food being okay.

Really nice food with so much flavour. I really liked the veg momos and saag. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is beacause the rice was very expensive, $7 for a takeaway container is a bit of a joke.
