The Cut Tavern - Bar & Bistro

Ordered the fish and chips $26 this is what was served up. Tiny piece of fish, half a bowl of chips, sad looking salad. When I approached staff they assured me that this was an acceptable meal. I hate to have to complain, but as a local this is just disappointing. Fish was over cooked and hard. Left hungry. Bad food, poor staff attitude, save your money and go to Cafe Coast.

Just to say it’s the worst steak l have had could not cut it with steak knife they need to buy better quality meat no excuse for what they gave me for $34 but try it for your self.they are starting to drag there feet?

Got charged $40 for 3 drinks. Had 1 Peroni and 2 vodka lemon lime bitters. Went up and asked if this was correct and was said that I had been charged the most expensive vodka. Was only single shots of vodka too. Have had the same drinks at other places and had never had to pay this much ever

Worst pub in Australia. Another business relying solely on its location rather than the quality of service. How a health inspector would allow this business to operate is beyond me. Stained cutlery, finger and lip marks on glass wear, little bits of food underneath the plates. Revolting!

Staff were very helpful. Queuing up to order food was a pain. Food was definitely pub grub but well presented.

Wait staff were fantastic, but I had to send my garlic prawns back as the sauce had a strong burnt flavour but no garlic flavour. The waitress was very applogetic and i then got the brisket with mash which was great, but with having to wait for a replacement meal meant i ate after my husband had finished his meal. Will give them another try

Great menu. Very fresh seafood. Amazing views. Great service and good ambiance. Perfect for families.

Great place to meet up with Family and Friends, Cold beers & friendly staff, lovely water views, TAB area and undercover outdoor area with pool table!

Disappointed with the food, toasted turkish sandwich was below standard; service was okay tho. View was lovely. Won't be going again.

Good place to enjoy a view and a bottle of wine - we are within walking distance - with good pub food and very friendly staff. We normally stay too long at times, but always enjoyable.

Service was poor mains came out straight after starters before finished. Creamy garlic prawns were burnt when conplained to staff was told they would talk to chef, waited 20 minutes and no one came to say sorry or offer money back. I am not one to make a scene and did not want money back just a sorry would have been fine but got neither so we left.

Always a great view.but thats about it, came down for lunch and never have high expectations. Tried something different with chilli muscles & asked for mild - not mild and for $26 expected more than 13 muscles and 2 pieces of stale bread. Steak sandwich was ok but chips were cold and floury.
Gone home to have a real feed

Two weeks ago fabulous. Today not so.
Ordered coffee on arrival. 20mins is not acceptable. I came back to enquire as to the delay. Your excuses are Your problem not mine. Two of the meals were good, one (ribs) was fair at best.cold.

Great Mexican Parmi. Only $17. Great location and the staff are wonderful. This could become my new go to place for a local meal.

We had the shared seafood platter it was terrible the fish was dry the garlic prawns where just slop the chilli mussels very ordinary even the chips were not good but at least the beer was good

All good. BUT where the line mark is on the glass to say where to stop.come on GUYS‍️ a little over the line NOT UNDER.

Very friendly staff, Great location and tasty food, Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have no hesitation recommending the tavern to our friends.

Great location with plenty of parking. Meals served at just the right time with no fuss. We all enjoyed the food. A nice family pub atmosphere.
