The Cut Golf Course reviews
56 I visited the Cut Golf Course in 2019, not long before the COVID19 lockdown was activated across the Australia.
The pro shop staff, the PGA Professionals and their team were very friendly and more than accommodating to all my needs, which took the stress out of the day.
I was paired up with local members Bob, Nick and Robin. I was introduced to to the club captain Peter who welcome me to the club.
What a great recipe for a golf success story. A beautifully maintained course, challenging yet fair layout and a great people around the place.
For all you golfers out there if you haven't already then just go visit this place and play a game.
Peel Chamber of Commerce Night for Business After Hours meet up
Food served for the night was excellent.
Venue was very inviting.
Absolutely amazing course. Nice and challenging. Great bar and staff. Very happy with the service. Will definitely be back.
Very nice staff, great driving range, my kids had fun. I hope I can get them to the after school clinic. Driving range is getting a facelift. I hope toilet and more parking will be next
Very windy making playing conditions difficult, but considering the rain the past week the course was in good condition
Fantastic course. If you haven't played it then you are missing out on one of Australia's best courses. Get there early, the wind isn't kind later on.
Chicken satay was really good. Would of been great it we could of Sat outside but due to weather be Sat inside near the bar. Atmosphere not great due to staff moving around for tonight
Hopefully it has improved but when we were there a few years ago the service was not good, only a few diners yet we had a long wait for very expensive meals which were very ordinary.
Great track with million dollar views. A lot of people complain about the design being not golf-friendly (admittedly there is a lot of elevated shots to the green and blind shots off the tee) but after a couple of rounds the intimidation factor wears off. The course has an interesting changing landscape starting with some proper links style holes perched high on cliffs looking over the Indian ocean. Then transitions into more parklands style and a couple of holes that would have you thinking you were in Florence with Mediterranean styles terraced housing perched behind the green.
A stunning display of what a coastal course can offer, smooth front nine with some protected greens and back nine boasting undulating fairways and beautiful views over the ocean, lower your scoring expectations and bring a few provisionals as theres no point searching for outside the fairways. Cold pints of Heineken and burgers to round off for the day.
Bring your A game and extra balls, course is challenging every hole is asks questions about your game truly great set up.
Nice food, not bad service but waitress was making a lot of noise sweeping the floor whike we eat and talk. We ordered 4 barramundis, one hamburger which we enjoyed. Coffee was not bad either.
Tough course but the friendly staff and the club members offer you with valuable information on how to survive the tough course
Lovely facilities. My caesar salad was pretty tasty though the chicken was a bit dry. Others food looked good. I dont golf so can't comment on that
Top 1000 golf courses in the world, beach views links style great greens and fairways, thick bush so bring extra balls
Very difficult course you must be straight off the tee. Greens were true and quick. Good test of golf.
Went here for a wedding.the meals were very ordinary. Guests were quite surprised with the 2 meals that were deligated out via the staff as they were bland and quite boring. When you attend a wedding unfortunately you do expect more than an ordinary meal, especially when the bride and groom had forked out a considerable amount of money for the night.
A true hidden gem. I played Pebble Beach at US$500 and Kingsbarns at £300. This course is a fraction of the price but just as great. The fairways and greens are in perfect condition. What’s more, the weather of Perth is certainly more predictable than Pebble Beach and Scotland.
This course was challenging with hidden greet and fantastic views of a great coast line, give it a crack
One of the most picturesque golf courses I've ever played. Challenging but done with clever design. Bunkers in tough places make you think. Off line and you're punished. But the views are incredible. Would happily go back again and again. The cafe didn't open till 9am which was baffling. We wanted coffee and a snack before our round but couldn't. Hence, 4 stars and not 5. The course itself is just stunning. But I do feel there should be some facilities open before 9am.
