The Cut Golf Course reviews
56Tough and narrow golf course. Very scenic setting on the beach amongst the dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Great place, with an amazing atmosphere. The staff are wonderful and always make you feel welcome. They offer something to suit everyone from a good day/night with friends, a chilled lunch, or a family meal out. Friday and Sunday are great for families, and kids eat free, which is a bonus. My kids can get bored at most restaurants, but here they have fun, dance, play games and just enjoy themselves. The food is great, Sunday is roast night, which is delicious! We love going here!
Frustrated when u have to play with coring green without notice and paying full price. But the scenery always takes ur breath away!
Golf course has stunning ocean views.
Tee boxes and green conditions are not so great with soft of sand that sticks to your ball.
Fairways are nice tho.
This is one of those been there done that golf courses.
Not a course I would want to play weekly.
Excellent and challenging golf course. We played a few weeks after coring and greens were in reasonably good knock, fairways and bunkers in excellent condition. Only complaint is that the quality of golf I played, tough course!
Kitchen was a bit slow but it was a Monday.
Played here today for the first time. We had a great day playing this course. The course lived up to expectations. Can't compain about 1 thing.
We took advantage of the special offer of 18 holes and cart hire for $65. This place is as good as anything I have played around the Mornington area. We had great weather with little wind but it would be a beast of a place if the wind was up.
Went for dinner on a Sunday night and loved the live music. Food was good and service was friendly. Not over priced. Great night out.
My wife and I popped in to The Cut for the first time on Sunday afternoon. We only intended to have a coffee but the place was so good that we stayed for dinner and had a great evening listening to a great singer (Kirk Whyte) the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We will certainly be going back again. Well done to everyone involved last night.
The golf course in this seaside location will challenge your ability. The seaside views on those holes are memorable.
The course and offcourse under new ownership really pulled out the stops to welcome our golf club Nomads monthly game today. The service from the friendly staff was a delight to top off the round today. Best enjoyed with friends. Well worth a visit.
Went for Sunday roast 18/6/23 @12am
Ordered 2 x drinks which was stuffed up and over charge for.
Sat down in cafe to hear conversation about short staff, dogs getting ran over and very doom and gloom conversation between staff member behind bar at Cafe to custormer at table near us.
I don't want to hear this disturbing conversation shouted across restaurant. So we got up and moved.
Then food came out no horseradish veg mushy and over cooked. Potatoes still had skins on. Lazy chef with no love in his food.
Took dry meat home for dogs. Won't go back again
For me it's the premier links course of Perth. Take plenty of spare balls if your struggling to find the fairways. It's challenging once the wind gets up. Highly recommend you give this a go if your looking for something different in Perth golfing scene.
Didn't play myself but son said greens were in good condition and good to play on. I sat in the outdoor area of the bistro which could do with some work. The plants that were scattered around were dead or dying. The concrete tiles could do with a pressure wash. The chairs were all colours but not in a good way. The shade sails would look better if they were the same colour at least and maybe some lights wrapped around the large concrete structures that held them up. I expected better to be honest. The staff member that served us was lovely. And inside was quite nice.
What a stunning back nine! Enjoyed every hole along with the amazing scenery. The Club house restaurant settings are very relaxing with nice serving foods. This Club has every things to be the best
Superb course. So great to be there and see the glorious views on the marvellous course. I wish I could live nearby and join!
On a bad note, admin, website and contact is awful. I filled out the contact message form and, when there was no reply, I rang them. Quote "I don't think we ever check that. " Unbelievable.
Dropped by for lunch from thier pub grub menu and found the dining area, underwhelming. Constant crashing of a door where the closure was broken made for unpleasant time.
Tees were good condition. Greens were fast and great. A few stones which can damage your clubs were in some of the bunkers. Fairways were tight and well mowed. I was surprised so many tee shots were blind and positively Dangerous, ie, you cannot see where the players in front are when you tee off. Apart from that, it was well worth the trip.
I will definately be back. PS. Take lots of old golf balls with you as the rough is impossible to find a stray ball in.
Beautiful links course in very good condition. Very challenging for the likes of me, but I love the pain!
One of most beautiful and challenging course in WA. The fairway can be some what narrow and the green can be tricky too. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful course! Well worth the drive as it has some of the most spectacular holes lining the ocean. Staff were super friendly, will definitely return.
Just enjoyed the Indian Buffet Dinner! The pork belly curry was lovely - as was the rest of the food.
