Have not been hear for ages staff fantastic andthe steak sandwhich with a pint ofbeer for $19 not only cheap the best steak sandwhich ive had for a long time would reccomend

My bartender Joe was a gem! What a lovely gentleman. Recommended the Texan parmi which was exquisite. Can't wait to be back and try the Carlisle brew he so eagerly wanted to promote. Props to the lovely lady who served my dinner as well!
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Kamal. Twice I have had the displeasure of running into him. Word of advice, know your clientele. Just because you haven't seen me in the back bar doesn't mean I ain't a local. This is the 2nd time in 6 years I have had a bad running with staff at Carlisle -both times with Kamal. Overly abrasive and dismissive. Some of us want to come down, spend money and enjoy a good drop after months away on duty.

I hosted a luncheon at the Carlisle hotel last week for 25 seniors and there was not one complaint of anything.
Staff were excellent in assisting, meals were great.
Service was brilliant.

This pub has done well in reinventing itself in recent times and is a great place to stop by for a good quality and well priced meal and a cold ale.

Wednesday steak night gets you a good quality scotch fillet with chips, salad and a wine or beer for $25.

The chef takes pride in presentation and after one of our group ordered ahead but ran late, he insisted on taking away the meal already delivered and then prepared a fresh one after our late arriving colleague got there. That doesn’t happen very often these days.

So if you’re in the area, stop by for a well priced and generously proportioned meal.

What a beautiful food! Chicken salad was very flavorsome and well portioned by Chef Sunita. Fresh food, friendly staff, will be going there again.

Food & service was good. Nice to go somewhere and buy a bottle of decent wine at a reasonable price. Music was a bit loud.

Great friendly service, food was amazing (had the snapper and prawns) … grabbed a bottle of Gin too!

Excellent food and atmosphere. Just when I thought that Perth had the worst service in the world, Deb proved me wrong. Our waitresses Deb's attention to detail is impeccable. She's an absolute asset to the Carlisle. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you so much Deb for the service you gave us.

Our second visit to the Carlisle, the beef burger was nice but the chicken burger my wife had was very ordinary at best. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked and lacked any seasoning at all to the point of being tasteless. At $25 we felt a little ripped off. What more can I say!

Visited today for lunch.service terrific. Kylie couldn't do enough.nothing was too much trouble. Sat in the beer garden weather was good and it was peaceful. Food okky.pub food.very clean.

Went to a birthday party there on Saturday, spent a fortune on platers and drinks to have management shut us down at 9pm, disgusting

I asked for a Negroni and after looking at the beer pumps the woman behind the bar told me they didn’t serve it! I explained that it was a cocktail and was told she couldn’t make it - she didn’t bother to ask about the ingredients. It’s a bit weird to make your own gin and then be unable to serve Negroni.

We had fish and chips off the lunch specials $15 was money well spent tempura fish with chips hit the spot. Relaxed vibe with Tab next door if the company your with gets boring

The food is absolutely delicious. The Wednesday night Steak night is just perfect - great portion and great value at $20. However, customer service has to be important as well. The mobile website says that the customer has a choice of chips and salad or mash and vegies. However, the staff have been instructed to only offer chips and salad. On 3 of the past 6 occasions I had to show the website page and the Manager agreed to the change. However, on my last visit the bar staff member was particularly rude, before the Manager allowed the change. I then wrote an email to the Carlisle and was told a.) the website is wrong and the staff member is right and b.) there must be an issue with my cookie cache because this was removed 8 months ago. Obviously the website can't be 'wrong' and I had to screen shot step by step how I got the menu on my mobile to which the person can now see that it is up for all to say and will get IT to remove. This is a rather long story but what happened to good old fashioned customer service? The Carlisle replier could have just said "I am sorry for the inconvenience and I apologize that our policy and what is seen on the website do not match. In any instance you should not have been treated with disrespect and she should have called a Manager. To stop any confusion we will have the website modified by IT so that it is just chips and salad. It was so good of you to provide the feedback and hope you come back soon'. Instead I was told the bar staff was right and my cookie cache is out of date. Just poor service. I just wish places would remember customer service is number 1.

The lady in charge was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was good (the asian style fish and chips was a great take on run of the mill fish and chips) and the gin was delicious. They have done a great job on what use to be a pretty ordinary pub! Congrats!

Food was great pub grub - good sized meals. Staff (Deb) was great value:) - very happy with our Sunday lunch.we will be back!

Overall a pleasant experience for dinner, nightly food specials, reasonably priced & plenty of tap beers available and a great outdoor area with a big screen for sports
