The Cake Factory

We went to the cake factory after quite some time today and the cakes were absolutely horrible!
We purchased 2 x 6” inch cakes and the chocolate cake was completely dry like it had been sitting there for days and had become stale! It had the smallest strip of icing in the centre (pointless even having it there) The cookies and cream cheesecake was loaded with cookies at the top and then had hardly any in the actual cake so couldn’t really call it a cookies and cream cake?
Really disappointed with the cakes from this place, especially after we’ve eaten here many times in the past and their cakes were really nice so a real disappoint to see their quality of cakes drop so low!

Visited Cake Factory today and the lady that served me was really rude.
I asked if they did frozen cakes (Have got a frozen cake from here before) She snapped at me and said they didn't do frozen and then abruptly asked if i still wanted the cake.
I will not be buying from here again!

The Cake Factory did an amazing job creating my husband's 40th birthday cake. The custom printed cake was perfectly printed with no bleeding of inks and the extra detailing of ribbon and frosting was a wonderful touch - matching his fave AFL team colours was such a surprising detail and made the cake even more special. The cake itself was moist and extremely tasty. We were all really impressed with it and people couldn't stop taking photos of it! Thank you, The Cake Factory, for being so easy to work with and delivering an impressive product.

Ived them for several bdays, and the muffins freeze well too! Been back many times now, the cookies are huge, great to share with the kids! Had a beautiful Unicorn cake made!

Apart from the awesome cakes there's a good selection of party foods. Tucked away in the corner of the malaga, its definitely worth a visit.

I ordered a cake for my husbands 40th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! It looked beautiful with the huge chocolate curls covering the cake and it tasted amazing. Everyone loved it!

Had the emu export can for my son's 21st. The attention to detail was phenomenal, shadowing on letters, the cake was a true show stopper matched by the taste. Will be using you again for all occassion cakes.

We ordered an Engagement Cake from The Cake Factory. It was outstanding! Huge chocolate curls and chocolate coated strawberries. The beautiful hand written plaques and lovely detail made it clear that this team take a lot of pride in their work. And most importantly, it tasted great! Thank you Cake Factory Team!

All cakes, muffins, logs, slices and tortes are perfect except their cheesecakes. Cheesecakes seem more gelatin than cheese. Cheesecakes at The Cheesecake Shop are better but for all else, The Cake Factory is good.

I hate being negative but an average score is all the enthusiasm I can drum up - 2.5 would be more realistic. Ordered a 3 high 6" specialty cake that I saw on their website that I believed was going to be a standout piece for a small party and received a cake that overall looked nothing special. It was underwelming so much so that those who knew about it thought it might have been a mistake and only be 2 layers. We then hoped for a great taste but it did nothing much to increase this review and I was unable to get a round of seconds going. I guess I expected more of a statement peice for $160 given I only needed a small cake - but I am no cake expert.
On a positive the cake was ready on time with only 4 days notice and the place looked like it was doing a good trade when I picked it up so I could be unlucky or clueless.

Bought a tiramisu cake and it was delicious. Everyone wanted a second slice. Highly recommend and will purchase again!

Bit disappointed as the invoice was delivered with the cake! Lucky my aged mother didn't see it or she would have freaked out! I will use them again because I believe everyone deserves a second chance. No news on how good the cake was.yet. Thanks Tanya, you were very nice to speak to, great customer service skills:)

My work colleague ordered 2 ales to our work place. Delivered to the wrong department, and wrong cakes delivered!

I have ordered 3 cakes over the last 3 months. Each cake has been amazing in taste and appearance. The first was for my sons birthday and a hit! The second was for his first Holy Communion, they made a special chocolate plaque. The third was for my step daughters 18th, it was superb! A total hit. Thank you.

First cake I ordered was for my birthday (Tiramisu), second was for my daughter's birthday (choc beehive). Both cake looked great, enticing and delicious. Highly recommended.

Probably the best custom cake shop in the Perth region, what else is there to say!
