We’re on our second order this year from The Cake Factory and couldn’t be happier with their cakes and service.

Picked a cake today for my daughters engagement. Not happy at all. It's smal and crocked. Not even straight and it's not smooth on top. Could of got a better one from the cheese cake shop and cheaper.

Went in to choose a cake for my grandson's Holy Communion it looked beautiful on the outside but eating it was another matter. It tasted burnt and had a weird taste. It was so dry
almost stale. So disappointing not to mention embarrassing.

I gave the stars for customer service and prompt delivery.
I had some cupcakes sent to a friend and make a last minute request to deliver them early in the day. They followed up, confirmed and delivered on time as per request. Apparently they tasted good too Thank you

Ordered custom cakes for 2 different days.

Event 1 - the cake was ok, but custom instructions were not followed.

Event 2 - the cake was damaged when we got there - they said, "oh sorry, we will fix the cake". Thus, the cake reached the event 3hrs late. Oh, to top it off the cake was still not properly fixed.
The cake was very dry like it was made & then frozen. Then served.

Then, even when I spoke to management telling them issues etc.

Replied with " someone should have let us know within 24 hours and even brought some back to the factory so as our Head Chef could assess. " like really?

Really disappointing after paying so much to get this service.

Are you having a special birthday or celebration requiring a cake as equally special then look no further, prices are just as good.
You won't be disappointed.
Whenever we have any occasion I will drive extra kilometers for these indulgent goodies, guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's faces and tummies happy.
While your enjoying your cake you will also smile at the money you saved keeping joy in the household

Cheesecake too gelatinous, looked nothing like the picture online, and was given the cake frozen despite being told it would be ready next day.
It was ok, but for the price expected better.

Beautiful cake…. Decoration, texture and taste all top class. Expensive but was worth it. Will definitely use again.

Got an Oreo Cheesecake and found it to look much nicer than it tasted. Much too gelatinous and not sweet enough. Could also have a stronger cream cheese flavour. Overall, a fairly nice cake, but not one I'd buy again unless I knew the flavour and texture had been improved.

I ordered a cake to surprise my husband for his birthday while we were staying in a resort in Mt Helena. I only chose them instead of other local bakeries because they offered delivery. On the day the delivery person called me saying that they had the address for billing and delivery the other way around and they can’t deliver to Mt Helena. I was so disappointed as I made the order more than a month in advance and I could have ordered it with other local bakeries. I think they could have avoid this mistake if they had sent me at least one confirmation email or a notification for delivery before the date.

My birthday was yesterday and my mum ordered me a red velvet cake from here.the cake costed $50, which i think is kinda expensive but not too bad.other than that, the cake tastes amazing.i’m definitely coming back!

Fantastic cakes every time! The customised images that can be put on a cake are excellent. There's a lot of gluten free and vegan options which catered for all our staff. Their delivery option is so convenient.

This business deserves a 5* rating. Excellent customer service over the phone when ordering. But most importantly the cake was the highlight of my daughter's Frozen party. It was delicious as well. Price is very reasonable. Thank you for your service

Came here December last year to get our wedding cake. Two tier cake with fondant. It was super expensive, close to $600. We thought ah with this price, surely the cake will be very beautiful and taste amazing.
When we got the cake, it didn't look like how we wanted it to be. Its not the same shade of colour like we asked for even having provided them with photos. Was disappointed at this point but had no choice as wedding is the next day.
Half way through the wedding, we noticed the fondant of the cake cracked. Obviously very upset with that.
We ordered two flavours for the cake. One was red velvet and the other was chocolate something.
Red velvet tasted weird. But the chocolate one was good.
We wouldn't be too upset if we get charged $200 for such quality cake. With $600, everything needs to be perfect. What a rip off.
I do not recommend this for wedding cake. Birthday cake or other occasions may be ok.

This is my go-to for delicious cakes and takes the flavour and attention to detail beyond the franchise cake shops. They are also Amazing at custom cakes like this one for a recent cougars party we had!

Bought first time a velvet cake from the cake factory and was really disappointed. Ordered online and went to pick up. And received a chocolate cake with cheese topping. The cake itself wasn't nice.

Having had a cake from here before (a long time ago tho), however the last cake we just ordered on the phone was definitely not as nice.
First time ordering on the phone and not really knowing (mybe my bad) the heart shape (to put on top of cake) was too large and heavy for the cake and came seperatly!
Wich was tasteless.and not ok. I was trying to not be too nasty
And the whole thing was disappointing as it was for my son's birthday
Having sent them an email, I just feel the response was not worth replying to.

We absolutely loved our Wedding Cake. Was certainly made with plenty of thought and love from The Cake Factory Malaga. Thank you for a delicious tasting cake. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Absolutely wowed our guests and the Birthday Boy with the sensational death by chocolate (cake number 10) mudcake! Thankyou so much to the awesome team at the Cake Factory for not only coming to the rescue with such short notice but for exceeding my expectations with such a stunning cake for my man! HUGE THANKS and I fuly reccomend your cakes to everyone!
