The food here is absolutely amazing every time. The 16 course meal is delicious and every serving is better than the last! Beautiful selection of fusion foods too. The atmosphere here is amazing and their selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages is large. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go.

Great food, good atmosphere and service. Excellent for large groups as they cater for different dietary requirements. Would love them to update the menu seasonally and offer more veggie sides so we could go more often and have variety.

Lovely customer service by Isaac, every time I visit he is always polite and entertaining. Would recommend this place to anyone! The crispy chicken salad is amazing as well.

Was closed Tues 23 Feb, no idea why. No sign to explain. Have been before and was a good place for Japanese food but can't understand when they are open and closed. So disappointed.

We had my son's birthday in one of their function rooms and everything went so well. The owner was very nice and accommodating which made things go smoothly. The food and service was great - everything came out quickly. We received many compliments from our guests!

We ordered a set menu of 65 per person, but in fact the portion of the meal is too small, and every bite is lost. When the whole set is over, we have not eaten enough. We rely on a bowl of white rice that comes with the set and a glass of plum wine. Everyone averages 70 yuan but still haven’t eaten enough, It’s the first time I have this experience and I will never come again.

I've been coming here for years and the service and amazing food has been consistent every time. The creamy spring rolls and Wagyu tatami are my favourites but everything is great and the team never have less than excellent service

There was a brilliant east meets west type degustation menu. The fried Patagonia tooth fish was done just right. There was fried prawns with avocado sauce, beef & asparagus rolls, and crab sticks. To name a few. There was a full bar with sweet cocktails. Food hit the sweet spots all the time.

What a great way to finish the year off, food was fresh and cooked just perfect.
Heres to returning in 2021, great atmosphere and decor, service was second to none and prices were very affordable.

The interior and exterior designing (to me) was excellent. For the people serving that place, wow it was great! The people were kind and the there food was amazing, it was honestly a work of art. Although it was a bit pricey and it was only a bit of food for some of the servings, it was worth it at the end it was so tasty!

I have been going to this restaurant since the first week it opened and it is still the most epic restaurant in Perth. Isaac is an extremely warm, welcoming and caring owner who is ALWAYS happy to accommodate his patrons. The atmosphere is cosy yet the venue is quite spacious so you can definitely take the whole team down for a big feast. The menu is extremely well priced for the quality of the food and has remained so since opening. The delicious fusion of flavours in the sauces really enhance the chosen protein (meat/seafood/tofu) in ones meal - you can tell a lot of care, love and research has gone into perfecting such deliciousness and the presentation is visually aesthetically pleasing. There is so much variety so there is something for everyone at Bonsai! I recommend the salmon sashimi with wasabi sauce, creamy prawn spring rolls, beef tataki and crispy chicken salad with wonton skins - yummo! Can’t wait to go back:) 6 star food at an affordable price:)

I like the food and the alcohol prices are reasonable, but service is really, really, slow. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to get a drink and an hour for entrees. Please get some more staff for your busy evenings!

I have to say that the food was lovely, however the service was extremely slow. We had a booking at 6.30 ordered share plates at 7 and didn't get any food until 7.45. It then took until 9.40 to get the rest of our food.

It changed the flow of the night. We had to keep asking where the rest of the food was.
