Tried ringing/texting for a booking 2-3 times, received no answer or response. Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by a front of house/waitress who was rude and didn't look like she wanted to be there at all. Food was top quality but wouldn't go back here purely based on atmosphere and staff.

Absolutely beautiful this place, food we had was amazing, marinated octopus entrees followed by lemon n prawn linguine. Could not fault it.

Popped down on Friday night without a booking and was told that due to a large amount of ‘walk-ins’ only the entree menu was on offer, so we decided to go elsewhere and instead made a booking for Sunday night, when the entire menu would be available. The food was tasty but the service needs a LOT of work. We shared the ceviche, octopus and prawns to start, and for mains shared the lamb shoulder with couscous, broccolini and potato. We started with a glass of sparkling wine and couldn’t get another drink for love nor money! Finally managed to track down a waiter to order a cocktail, half an hour later turns out the order never went to the bar. No service despite empty glasses in front of us for a very long time. The only wait staff that did come to the table were staff asking if they could clear our plates, when I was literally still chewing food and the food was still on the plates. Strange. There was no warmth or personality from
the staff and sadly the night was overall a real disappointment: (

Stood in line for about 5 minutes, they took 2 orders in this time. Still had 4 people in front of me. So I left I only wanted two take away coffees. Would definitely benefit from another till. At least someone else serving and sharing the till.looked nice tho

Place is overpriced for the portion sizing of meals, paid $42 for a pork belly that was all fat, no designated smoking area, got warned about smoking outside and was told I had to move further out of the building.

The staff were lovely when we went for lunch previously so decided to book for dinner the following day. Unfortunately we ordered a lentil curry and rolled lamb, the curry was fairly bland but the rolled lamb had a shard of bone in it. The waiter took away the meal and offered a replacement but my partner had already been put off and decided to share mine. When we went to pay the manager was quite rude and didn't apologise even made the excuse that it was lamb and to be expected (I refused to pay for the meal as we barely ate any before the staff took it away). Very disappointed in this response as we tried not to make a scene or hassel anyone. Would not recommend anyone going here for dinner.

Gone way way way down hill from my time living here. I was in Esperance from 1990 to 2013. Went there yesterday for lunch 3rd Fed 2023 and gee what a surprise. Menu was limited to say the least. Tempura this Tempura that ha I was a chef for awhile in its hay day and it was the place to go. I asked two staff yesterday what was the fish of the day? A stare into space No Idea no.good enough. Anyway night time may be better, but get you day menu into ordor and wake up you staff, we had other 0eople food delivered to our table and it wasn't BUSY.

Very poor for the cost. The pasta was very over cooked and dripping in butter, it was sickly heavy. I can usually eat whatever is handed to me but not on this occasion.

Great cocktails and services. We went back there again for cocktails and the view. However, I'm not sure about the food. We ordered 5 starter to share. The presentation was great. Being Asian, I may expect too much for Asian dishes in a country town. The octopus salad was the worst out of the 5. Beef tataki didn't have the right sauce. All I could taste was kikuman soy sauce, which is too salty. The prawns tempura was well cooked, but the creamy sauce was bland.

The food was some of the best I have ever tasted!
Service was great from the staff kind and friendly and the food came really fast.

Yummy and high quality food! View onto the beach and the harbour, close to the city as well.

Very busy (notice up advising of approximate wait time is appreciated. Hospitality is still doing it hard re staffing etc) but still exuded a calm and well organised atmosphere

Menus on the board, very popular place, there's outdoor setting so we can have our furry friends with us, price a bit expensive but worth it

Excellent venue for dinner. Beautiful location right on the foreshore. Very helpful and attentive staff that are quick with their service. The food was delicious. Especially the Lemon Prawn linguine. Really nice relaxing vibe in the place with plenty of great wine choices.

Great service and the food was absolutely delicious. We were so full but couldn’t resist the ricotta doughnuts after seeing the table next to us devour them. We added ice cream on the side which took it to another level! The wine and food were very reasonably priced. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend!

Disappointing that a place that's open till 10 can not accommodate 5 customers on a Thursday night at 8: 05.

Tried calling ahead but bookings are by text only. No reply to text request so we drove down only to be sent back out the door by the hostess who didn't look like she wanted to be there.

@ the owners if you read this, please change the board out front that says open till late. We understand there is a shortage of staff, but we were in no rush.

Food reasonable but very meagre portions, drinks arrived halfway through the meal two meals, a pint of cider and a glass of Moscato, over $90, bit too pricey for me, not going back.

Drinks came straight away. Food, on the other hand, started coming after 50mins. Although the wait was long, quality and taste was awesome, full of flavour and reasonable portion size. Staff were nice and friendly. Overall a positive experience.
