68 Our 1st visit since the refurb.
Nicely done. New menu and drinks menu real good. Good value. Friendly, efficient service.
Will visit again for sure.
The food was good, though not especially remarkable. The cheap furnishings (including wobbly table) and lack of table service, don't match the high prices. It's like a cafeteria setting with fancy restaurant cost.
Had the octopus, aracini and potatoes done in duck fat. All were 11 out of 10 with the octopus being the best i have ever had. I was in shock to be honest. I think this is a hidden West Australian gem and can't understand the 4.4 rating definitely 4.9 would be more accurate.
Staying in Margaret River, we ordered a pizza to go. They had a half price deal if you purchased a bottle of their wine. Great initiative in tough times, delicious pizza, yummy wine & very friendly service. Thankyou, we’ll be back.
Excellent wine and service but the pizza we had was some of the best we have ever had.light crunchy pita bread type base and the topping not over done, sat on the balcony, beautiful night, reasonably priced. Excellent
Great place to relax and have a chat with friends.
Nice range of wine and sharing boards.
Bartender with beard in wrong job. Not welcoming. No smiles. No wonder everyone in Settlers. If he doesn't like his job he should do everyone a favour and leave. Been in Australia for three months and has to be the worst bar person we have encountered in that time.
Impeccable service! Friendly, fast, helpful and courteous. The menu is great too, which is what we’re all here for, and the pizza really delivers on flavour. I enjoyed the selection of beer and wine available as well. Prices were very fair for the portion sizes, and I would definitely come here again on my next visit to town.
Very disappointed to arrive over an hour before close on a long weekend and be turned away because they had decided to close the kitchen early
Pizza was yummy, lots of fresh ingredients but overpriced.great wine though. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was delightful and we got to take away the leftovers. Highly recommended.
Fantastic brewpub with seasonal local produce the star of the menu.
The tasting board was great with an interesting oat topping to the salad.
The Waygu rump was tender and well cooked, and was paired well with house made kimchi.
The highlight was the pork belly, which ticked all the boxes for texture and flavour.
Great selection of craft beers, and quirky cocktails. Good service with solid recommendations. Fully recommend and will be back again.
Sadly not only did we wait for close to a hour to get a takeaway pizza, it was luke warm to eat with very very little toppings! This pizza barely has chorizo, sauce and chillies and cost $30! What happened to the rest of the toppings I’ll never know! Return again I dare say not!
Pretty expensive, but low quality food. Set menu very bad value. Nice setting and friendly staff but pretty disappointing overall.
Seemingly quiet on the outside, but be sure to check out this taphouse for a good range of wines and beers on tap. The food is excellent too, especially the pizzas.
On Wednesdays they run a $30 offer for a pizza and 500ml of wine - check that one out!
Friendly staff who explained the menu and how to order. Got a pizza with lager deal and 3 share dishes.
Been there a few years ago with my wife, great place, great food, great people! Top gun place!:) Roberto and Goca <3
The food was pretty good but it took some time to receive it! Staff was pretty friendly though!
We enjoyed our afternoon at Swings for Waitangi Day and there were NZ craft beers on tap. A rare treat. Service was excellent and the Bar snacks were of a very high standard. Local wine recommended by the bar staff was crisp and to my taste. I would definitely recommend this venue.
Lovely casual dining experience with the selection of either table service or the bar area, Swings has a wonderful vibe with professional and friendly staff. Not to mention they have a great selection of meals, woodfired pizza, local wines and beers on tap!
