38As everyone said, employees need more training. They are not clear about the activities they participate in and have an indifferent attitude.
Not sure why this place is getting a bit of hate. Have been getting some of the beat subway subs I've had from here. Always tastes fresh. Prices are good. Not too sure about the staff as I order in my living room (it's 2023) but they seem OK.
No one EVER smiles while serving you. Tonight a girl the same age as my teenage daughter got s*! Tty at me as I walked in because she was trying to sweep the floor, then had to be told by the girl filling the fridges to serve, which she did after a sigh and an eye roll. Refused to smile and ignored me when I asked how her day had been. Absolutely pathetic customer service. Food prep area was disgusting, cross-contamination with their meat and salads. NEVER going back again. Pity it's the only subway store in a 50km radius. Would help if there was someone working that was at least over 18 yrs of age to teach the young ones about food health/safety and very basic customer service.
I come to this subway every time I'm in town and have always have terrible service, in fact I've gotten sick once eating here. Bit today, Tarina, she is a superstar and deserves to be recognised
I used to work for subway in another town. This subway in albany is run very poorly, in my opinion. The last few time ive been in there has only been 1 person making the sub and 2 or 3 others out the back talking and washing dishes when there's a line of 5 plus people waiting for food, took me 30min to get by the time i walked through the door to when i payed i was 2nd in line. They opened at 7.30 am, and i went in at 9 am, and they only had 1 6-inch wheat and 1 footlong of another. I asked for white, and the lady behind the counter said they had none, there was bread behind her and she said they thy just come out of the oven, witch is fair but not for 9am in the morning. I understand that i did work at another store, and things were differently but with only 2 bits of bread an hour and a half into them being open with fresh bread only coming out of the oven at 9. Where i worked, we had to start at 4 am to be ready for people at 7.30 am so that there was fresh bread.
Saturday evening with at least an hour left of service. Only Rye bread available and said meatballs had been put away, no offer to heat any up.
Was a bit noisy and there prices have gone up dramatically so won't be going there often

Staff need to learn about customer service. Like how to smile and at least pretend they want to serve you.
Love subway always go but for a couple of weeks now this one girl keeps throwing my food at me and she has the worst attitude towards customers. She doesn’t show any signs of respect or the will to work. Found it gross and lost my appetite.
Worst Subway I've ever visited. Unhelpful staff, the main ingredient on my chosen sub was avacado, only told when it had been partly made and toasted there is no avocado. Still charged for the avacado. Unfriendly staff. Prices here much more expensive than any other Subway and I've been to a few. Won't visit again.
The staff did really well to get through a very busy time. Order was correct and made efficiently, ingredients were great and store was clean.
Ate there this morning, out comes the bad service from girl, no smile no greeting, ok it was early but then while toasting my roll she starts cleaning around area with her once sanitary gloves, then starts to put salad on with dirty gloves, asked her put new gloves on, glad I was watching.
Lettuce in container was very brown. A good way to get Semolina. It was disgusting. Staff seemed as if they did not care. The Foot long when wrapped felt like they threw it across the counnter, not placed. A big difference from the last time I purchased from there!
Nice staff and seems to be fresh. Staff could do with a smile every now and then but due to staff shortages staff could be overworked and fatigued. Keep up the great sandwich artistry!
Not as big a menu as there used to be, service can be slow at times, why charge extra for beetroot when olives and pickles are more expensive to buy in the shops? Doesn't make sense.
None of the staff knew what they were doing and they poorly made our subs meat wasn't even warmed up and didn't even toast our bread.
Sad to say a sandwich shop can't even make a sandwich right
Friendly staff but rating comes down due to overall averageness of the food which is below quality compared to price payed.
After walking 1000km, this was what we were looking forward to! Great sub. Average staff though.
