I had a wonderful time in Chloe’s hands, I was definitely in need of a change and she helped with her experience to find the right colour and style for my hair! I will come back as soon as I need touch ups!

I instantly felt at ease here. The people are welcoming and friendly. Zachary was really kind and understood what I was after in a hair cut, my hair now looks amazing.

I had a really great experience.
My partner and I both left with stunningly styled queer mullets that have been growing out gracefully. Comfortable vibes and stim toys made our visit a very pleasant visit ️

What a lovely business! Such a calming and friendly environment. There's gentle, non-intrusive instrumental music playing in the background, which is actually very pleasant. The staff are really welcoming and make you feel genuinely seen and heard. They go out of their way to ensure you are talked through the haircut and ask for your preferences throughout the process when doing a significant new haircut. Their understanding of neurodiversity and their inclusivity with gender identity is truly such a breath of fresh air! I could be myself and had no anxiety about judgement at all. I wish all businesses were like that. SUPER happy with my haircut!

I haven't been able to go to a proper hair dresser in years. Studio Misfits was suggested to me as they are LGBT+ friendly and can cater to sensory issues.
My hairdresser was super sweet. So very caring and kind. They took extra care in making sure I was comfortable and that water didn't get in my ears, that the water was cold and that the hair dryer was also cold. They understood my awkward lack of communication and accepted it/me.
I left crying happy tears as I felt that this place and these people can become a vital part of my life to help me be the best me.

Very much a safe space not just for the LGBTQIA+ community but also those that have Neurodiverse needs and cannot handle traditional hair studios.

Lovely staff very friendly and accommodated. Really good for people on the autism spectrum or part of the lgbt community

Absolutely loved my experience at studio misfits. Rach did an awesome job colouring and giving me a new style. I love my new look. The space is so chill and calming, I’m so glad Mr & Mrs misfit have created such a welcoming place.

Really good experience, Chloe was considerate and accomodating as well as super fun, and I love my hair! I appreciated the way the staff checked with the customers before using textured objects like towels, using scented products or loud equipment like hairdryers. I haven't had my hair cut at a salon in many years because it is usually too stressful, but this is a completely different experience.

What a fantastic hair studio. I normally hate getting my hair cut but I can honestly say this is the most comfortable I've ever felt. Chloe and Riley are awesome human beings and I love my new hair. Highly recommend
