Spudshed Kelmscott reviews
39The fruit and veg are OK if you are going to use them in 1 or 2 days. The cauliflowers were pretty well on their way out, 2 for $3, they need a fair bit of trimming of brown bits. Not as cheap as they used to be, some prices similar to the big 2 major shops. Price of chicken frames for my dogs was good. 3 frames for $3.49. Meat was vac packed which I'm not a fan off anyway, it always smells funny when you open it up. Spudshed will always have its place I guess, but it's not any real competition now. I would not go to save money.
Not the cleanest. I'm unsure why they leave rotten produce out for sale. Today a container of half rotten cauliflowers still 'for sale'. I doubt they are safe to eat, they were covered in flies. The empty container next to it where the broccoli usually is was filthy.
Fruit and vegetables have gone very much down hill. Spuds are rotten when you open the bag upon getting home, tomatoes have rotten spots on them. I would not reccomend buying fruit or veg here.
A decent spud shed. Not as big or as good range as the one in Jandakot, but some of the quality seemed arguably better than that one.
I swear every time I visit the Jandakot one I've got to hunt for a good looking onion, but the one time I went to this spud, the onions were all very good.
Weird benchmark I know, but other fresh produce seemed quite good while I was shopping.
Range of other foods was a little smaller than the bigger stores understandably, but they still had the things I needed as well as plenty I didn't.
Huge tomahawk steaks and Faygo were definitely standouts for me.
If you want to feel sorry for people come have a walk around spudshed. Bunch of miserable bogans
The staff are courteous and helpful, the fresh produce is a fair quality for price and theres a good range of grocery items.
However I've shopped here for 3 years, used SpudShed app regularly and suddenly they refuse to accept their app because I offered an image of their barcode as I don't keep my phone in credit all the time.
Id shrug it off, except there's been several times over the past years I've been over charged, or charged for items NOT PURCHASED. Once for an item over $17.00 which wasn't among my groceries when I checked the docket while walking out!
I've bought bread that despite being within use-by date was mouldy, and biscuits so damp they were all glued together.
And what's with the "long walk" half the length of the store just to get in? Isn't the maze of road work detours irritation enough for your customers!?
Store layout change from the last time I was here looks great. Staff are still friendly and too happy to help
All my shopping experience are boring I hate shopping full stop my clothes get brought for me I barely leave if if I don't have to considering I'm losen my hair lol
Cheap prices for everything. You do need to look for good quality veggies sometimes though. Otherwise, it's a good store to find all basic groceries and they keep adding new items and choices regularly.
Great place to shop for fresh fruit, veg, great selection of frozen foods, bakery and deli meats. Prices are excellent. Customer service is efficient and friendly.
Very good for bread and milk etc heaps of so called fresh vegies dont really deserve to be bought rotten cauliflower bits cut off some tomatoes going rotten in box and not even checked or remooved fruit sometimes on way out also i asked person working about the vegies etc was told they have been told to sell it by marking down not a good sight to be looking at rotting fruit and vegies when you want to purchase so for your own benefit check everything before you put in bag or do what im doing now shop elsewhere sometimes for FRESH FRUIT AND VEGIES they really should lift their game heaps
Enjoyed a quick fruit meat and grocery pick-up, today whilst in the city.
Done and dusted. Home and unpacked.
Healthy eating for the week.
Great for when its 3AM and you have to positively, absolutely make yourself a potato salad right now.
If you haven't done this, then you are lying to yourself.
Some great gluten free options that are difficult to find elsewhere. Love the currys as well. Staff are always really friendly, which let's be honest is rare these days.
Great specials on frozen foods, snacks and meat, cheap vege, decent fruit. Just be aware with spdshed meat u either freeze it or use within 2 days. I stay away from their chicken if I don't plan on cooking it by the next day. Checkout staff friendly. Never short on parking or trolleys
Bought pita wraps last night didn't relise till today they were mouldy and expired it made my partner very sick as we had 3 last night
Disappointed veggies were not fresh, dried second time visit bad experience each time.compare to other spudshed prices were expensive. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. Not recommend.
Quality of veggies and fruit is so poor, checkout staff is so rude. They thought we are buying stuff for free. Galati needs to come often to check the quality of fruit & vegetable for customers. And hopefully after that you are not lossing any sales.
Terrible Customer service from the dUde with the fake Nails rather Than help us just shifted us away as a problem he couldn't be bothered with.
Great staff and service, just remember that you can't enter from the lights you have to turn around or enter from Albany Highway
