Spotlight Midland reviews
51Alongside Cannington, Midland is one of my favourite Spotlights, large with plenty of stock.
It's large, very well organised, and they have just about everything you'd expect. The staff was very helpful as well. Will be going back.
Went in at lunch time big line of people and waiting only 2 people serving took 25 minutes to get served
Excellent service at the Curtain desk on a Sunday afternoon. Served by Thanakorn. Very friendly and very helpful.
Service ridiculously slow. Senior staff member attitude abrupt quite rude. I will not be returning again.
Great shopping experience. We were surprised at the knowledge and helpfulness of some of what appeared to be junior staff. We expected the worst and got the best. Very helpful and attentive. Not too mention the sale items which we save plenty on. As somebody famous once said. "I'll be back" Thanks Spotlight.
Great service from the young girl where you buy the Dacron from.very helpful indeed.
Cheers

I find this store incredibly annoying, very hard to find what you're looking for and prices can often be surprisingly expensive
It's a great store, you name it, I t think they have it. Arts to craft, bedding to kitchen, sewing things material to lace and everything in between.
Shocking service, waited over twenty minutes to get served for material.
Ques in the front of the store abismal, not enough staff in this store at check outs.
Had to open my bag to prove I had obviously not stolen anything, demanded a receipt for goods I had purchased in another Dept of spotlight before I was allowed out of the store.
This is shocking would never go back way to slow with poor service
Spotlight has a monopoly over the craft and textile business. This one is reasonable but as usual has the typical sardine can parking setup.
I didn't think Spotlight could get any worse. I've put up with the sheer neglect from Spotlight staff for many years. Now apparently I also have to put up with antagonistic checkout staff. It's past time I found a Spotlight alternative.
Does what is says on the box:) only thing was apparently the girls at the front desk can cut ribbon and elastic and they sent us back down the back to get it done.
Its a huge store with variety of products.
It was so busy on the weekends with lack of staffs. Better to come during the week instead of weekends.
Had exactly what I was after at affordable prices and staff were friendly when asked about home delivery.
Didn’t have what I wanted but still enjoyed cruising through all the stuff I didn’t know I wanted and staff where helpful and polite.
Website said items were available, even called ahead to make sure & 4 of my 5 items weren't available & didn't even have a ticket so hadn't been there in a while. Dissapointing waste of time
Ashlea and the craft team were so helpful when I came in with an issue with my brand new and expensive die-cutting machine. They legitimately went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. Great customer service - thank you so much guys!
I went shopping in Spotlight today for curtains and a young man by the name of SEAN helped my friend and I so much. His customer service skills are impressive and I wish there were more employees like Sean.
Lyn in Manchester was also extremely helpful and kept helping us while she had so much work to do. Nothing was too much.
Thanks Spotlight for employee these two FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES. WELL DONE.
I have to say Spotlight Midland is the WORST. It's my local so convenient to go there but every single time there is a huge line to pay and it moves so slowly. The staff don't seem to know how to handle simple enquiries without referring to a manager and holding up the queue. They have old opening times on their door and invalid discount signs around the store. I've had at least four bad experiences now and it's getting beyond frustrating.
