We have seen Dr. Kerry McIntosh, she is very unknowledgeable, my baby had infection in his eyes, she couldn’t even tell us that is infection! His eyes got so sore, itchy and we didn’t have any proscription to treat it.she was so impatient with us, unkind, rude and we were so uncomfortable with her. She even refused to provide me a carer leave certificate for my work. She said I should see you and charge you to give you a certificate. This was the worst experience seeing GP in my entire life.

My experience was a breeze
The wait time was very short despite me being a new patient. Dr Jing Lin was very informative and thorough. Had all my tests done the same day. Will recommend Dr Jing and this clinic to any first time pregnant mothers looking around for a long term gp:)

I've been going here for over 10 years since my teens and hardly had major issues. Unexpected long wait times are expected at any medical centres and dental clinics so I usually call before i leave home to check whether they're running on time and they're always honest with me. Hit and miss with the doctors but i highly recommend Dr Ansell, Dr Lin and Dr McIntosh in no particular order - all really friendly and knowledgeable. Never had an issue with the receptionists. One time I accidentally left without paying and they called me politely and was having a laugh with me.

I have had occasion to contact the reception on numerous times and have always been met with courteous staff, more than willing to help me.
They go above and beyond and if my enquiry cannot be answered immediately the response time has been prompt. Being a rural patient this is very much appreciated.
My medical care has improved markedly since I have been under the capable hands of Dr Jing Lin and I could not recommend her any higher.

If you need health-care I really couldn't recommend this place any less.

They also lie completely about document processes that are performed by ANY other clinic to avoid doing Bull Billed work.

Do your well being a favor and choose one of the many, nearby, reputable facilities. There's a reason their rating is so low

Waited 1/2heure at 8: 30am so been one of the first patients and when I went out just for 2 minutes to take a phone call, it was my turn but took the next patient. The receptionists knew I was there as I had to fill a form, but they said nothing. So Dr Bowen was 1/2 hour late and wouldn’t wait 1 minutes. Not nice!

Drs are great, however the receptionists not so great. Snappy and unempathic, rude and abrasive are all words that come to mind. I have worked in simular roles all of my life and can't understand how such a reputable clinic could have this sort of behaviour condoned. I have been a patient there for many years and today was the final straw for me, having complained to not only the Dr but the practice manager who has done nothing to fix this problem.

An extremely unorganised clinic with poor customer service. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Initial arriving experience was terrible. 4 reception staff at the front and not one acknowledged my presence, nor look me in the eye, nor said " won't be a minute"
The stars are only for Dr Ben Ansell because he was so informative, thorough and engaging. I felt truly cared for.
I highly recommend Dr Ben Ansell but call ahead to check if he is running to time.
I would have liked to give more stars but the reception was cold and uninviting.

Long wait times, no apology for waiting over 1.5 hours in the car park. I was told to get there a certain time, contact reception and was instructed a Doctor would be out to see me within the next 15 minutes. 1.5 hours later I was told the Doctor was still with the same patient. Years ago this surgery was perfect, its has really fallen into the mud.

Excellent clinic with a range of great doctors. Dr Ansell is amazing with the kids, my son didn't cry when he had his head stitched as Dr Ansell was distracting him so well. Dr Lin is my regular doctor however and wonderful. She is empathetic and caring. You can't teach that.

Do not advise appt is double until after seen doctor. Very expensive clinic, no concessions for health care cards or pensioners.

I have been a patient at Southern Clinic for over 50 years. While the clinic has become busier, I have always found the staff to be professional and courteous. I have moved several times but still come to Southern Clinic regardless of my location in the metropolitan area.

Everyone is nice, but the waiting time is excessive. Last two appointments had almost an hour waiting, which is difficult when your ailment is large pain in lower back and unable to sit or stand for this time. Suggest finding a more prompt surgery if your unable to wait.

Friendly, professional, well spoken receptionists. Didn't have to wait more than 5 mins for my appointment time, Dr Cowley was great.

I was a bit worried because of some of the reviews however rang for information anyway.
My call was answered by a very friendly, cheerful and helpful receptionist that went out of her way to help with my inquiry.

The doctor I seen was nice enough and was able to help me but the staff are what let this place down. They were all hanging around gossiping when I went into the surgery last week and had no interest in serving me until they finished talking with each other about what happened on the weekend. The young girl kristen or chris who finally decided to serve me was so rude, there was no hello or letting me know how long the doctor would be. When I then came to check out, she was busy yelling someones results across the waiting room rather than tell them privately which i just found so unprofessional. Will not be coming back here again!

Having visited this clinic for over a decade, I can say that I have the utmost confidence in Dr Bowden as my family doctor. The receptionist attend to patients in a timely manner and Dr Bowden displays his professionalism through punctuality and impressive medical knowledge.

Reception staff are always lovely- so shout out to them! Most doctors here are good, although you will have to advocate for yourself a bit

Always been a fantastic practice in the years I've attended with wonderful admin staff and a gem of doctor, Dr Gary O'Mahony. Kind, gentle, knowledgable and takes time with you, rather than rushing you through. Highly recommended.
