When we arrived the table was decorated for my parents' anniversary and although we were a large group, the service was swift, accurate and again, very friendly
The food ordered was generous, very tasty and quality. I highly recommend this local tavern, for entertainment, value for dollar and high quality meals

6/7/23.7 of us upstairs restaurant. Steaks perfect. Christian the restaurant supervisor was very Polite, knowledgeable and very attentive. Had a great night. Bill was $206, less than $30 a head with 3 serves of best garlic bread ever, melted cheese. Thanks.

Great tasty everyday meals at family friendly dining prices, staff are friendly and efficient, very nice family dinner.

Loved this place. Was even able to get VEAL Parmigana (wonderful) and that's not easy to come by. Great service and reasonably priced.

Always enjoy tasty good value meal here and friendly helpful service at the resto upstairs. The Sunday roast is good and for dinner we love the prawn with the rice and the seafood platter.

I came in on Friday night and had some seafood it was absolutely fantastic really recommend you go have a try on the seafood platter for 2 such a good deal. Staff are really friendly and are a good laugh

This place has a great vibe on karaoke nights. They have professional quality karaoke staff who are very accommodating and so the ambience of the place can be very festive if you put in a little effort to mingle and enjoy good conversation. I do and I am rewarded every time. It's a friendly place if you yourself are a friendly person.

I've been coming to the Ale House for years, and have always found the restaurant to have excellent food and quality service. I recently met a friend there for dinner, and I had one of the best meals that I've ever had at South Street - the Benchmark Bourbon pork ribs. They were fantastic - a delicious sauce and meat that was fall-off-the-bone tender. You get a generous portion and they came with a side of coleslaw and fries - so good! And I found out that if you go on a Tuesday night they are one of the weekly specials and supercheap - I would highly recommend them!

Surprisingly spacious place. 20 of us went for lunch here. Food was good and very reasonably priced

Love the food here, from the steaks to seafood very tasty large portions, everyone is friendly and chilled atmosphere. Can get a bit rowdy bit that's all part of the character still no dramas here. Fair price drinks as well. Free parking. I'll go again for sure.

Dined there Friday night. Very friendly staff (informative and helpful too). My partner and I shared the Friday seafood special. Very tasty. Well cooked. Great value. We have no hesitation in recommending the venue or the menu choice. We're sure to be back.

Service and food always good, except our experience tonight. I rang at 5pm to book for tonight at 7 and checked it was Bourbon Rib night special on confirmation I made the booking. When I ordered I was told they were sold out. We were the only customers at that stage on a cold wet night after us only three more walked in. I really don't think they could be bothered doing ribs on such a slow night.

My Wife and I have been enjoying the great food and atmosphere here for as long as I can remember, Vince and Silvana have made the Ale House a must go to venue great specials all week and one of the best kept secrets in town, you will not be disappointed.

$6 Schooners on selected beers all day. If you want Kareoke then look no further with both Friday and Saturday nights pumping out the tunes
