South Beach Cafe

It's ok. By the beach, plenty of cold drinks with public toilets & showers next door

We simply passed by this place on our walk and thought we had to try it out! It's a dog friendly cafe. The portion sizes are fantastic. My brother had the fish and chips and I was so impressed by the amount on his plate. Definitely a must if you're in the area!

Casual vibe beach shack cafe with nice views and strolling along the beach. Coffee not amazing but location makes up for it.

Had the steak sandwich. Well cooked, the beetroot was a nice addition. Good balance and nice flavors. Right amount of chips. Well positioned near a grassy area and beach. Owners and management are approachable and friendly. A true local small business, highly recommend.

Love taking the poodles to this cafe. Also the Spanish Omelette rocks! And whatever brand they use for their Vegan mayo. Fantastic.

Great little cafe dog friendly, bacon and egg roll was fantastic as was my wife's toastie.great prices and very friendly staff.

Great location and cafe perfect for grabbing a casual breakfast, lunch or early dinner cobmined with a play at the park or basketball court and swim at the beach. Dog friendly too!

Ordered croissant, got toasted sandwich. Had waited 15 minutes, so wasn't going to wait another 15 for my correct order, while my friend ate alone, then have her sat there while I ate. Iced coffee served in take away cup despite dining in, which was disappointing. Also they constantly yell out order names both by voice and over a speaker, which destroyed the ambience of the nice beach setting. In the end, the sandwich wasn't too bad.

Great for fish and chips on the beach or a morning brew. Especially love the sweet potato chips, and the wedges with a generous serving of sweet chili sauce and sourcream. And who wouldn’t like the view as well!

Very popular spot. Particularly with the van life tribe that live in the car park. Nice coffee. Dog friendly.

Broken eggs (supposed to be sunny side up), dried sausages, cold mushrooms - have been coming to this cafe for years and very disappointed in the quality of food these days- also, get rid of the microphone yelling of your name to collect your order

Beautiful location, however they serve the worst coffee I have tasted in the Freo/South Freo area.

Shameful business being involved in segregation! The fines are absolutely unenforceable and you should have the integrity to stand against this medical apartheid! History will remember your stance.

Was nice and fast, with friendly staff. Had fish and chips with a salad after a beach swim, it all came out hot and fresh. The only negative: fish was quite oily (Dripping off the fish if I held it up)

Inattentive staff, plus whilst I was sitting, I had a staff come over to ask if I was finished, I handed him my plate, but commented I was still drinking my coffee, he then wiped my table down then walked away.
He then came back and slammed his plastic container down on my table to collect plates from another table.
I decided to leave then as I wasn’t feeling very welcome.

If you are a beach lover, then this is the place for you!
Literally a stones throw away from the beach, this Cafe is realllllly popular. It has a great selection of juices, smoothies, food snacks. Be warned, the parking can be terrible on the weekends and you may be going round in circles for a while!

Great beach side Cafe. Good home cook breakfast but don’t expect high end meals just ones to satisfy your tummy.

If I order a chai latte at a cafe, I’m expecting a chai latte… not a tea bag in a cup of hot milk and water:/

Coffee is very good too.

Lots of food choices.

Had lunch there today, Fishermen's basket. All seafood was soaked in oil, very greedy, hard to eat. What a waste of fish, which I could see was a good quality. Simple cooking class prior being charged of deep-frying would help. Must say I had this basket before and was good.
Also, I don't mind dogs, but because there is plenty of room on side for these 4-legged friends, so they should stay there.
