Solo Pasta reviews
75On arrival for our 6pm booking we were immediately notified that we would have to leave in and hour and a half, usually not an issue, however the following 45 minutes we were constantly rushed and then eventually told that another group wanted our spot so they would have to move us to a large empty table. A catch up with a friend I hardly get to see turned into a rushed experience and was very disappointing. Waitress was very blunt and rude.
Vanessa did a great job with recommendations on my first visit!
Also the pasta straws are a genius idea
Pasta was amazing! Exactly what I needed. So flavourful and the 3 metres was the perfect size to make my belly happy ️ All the staff were so lovely and catered to our needs. Will deffo be coming back!
I thought the pasta was undercooked and the venue was pretty loud - Could barely hear the person opposite me. Also the novelty of having one single, long piece of pasta wore off pretty quickly when you had to keep cutting it before every bite. However the sauce was excellent and the staff were fantastic.
Not bad at all. Quite tasty. Just a bit overpriced for the small portion. Next time I might order an extra metre of pasta. Worth a visit for the novelty, not sure I’d go back unless a friend invited me or something.
Was surprised about how good this place was last night but you will need to order 2 extra metres if all you are having is pasta and no sides to be full. The desert was also very small for how much it cost.
Had dinner with a group of 10 friends on a Thursday night and the restaurant was half full so getting a seat was quite easy.
Had the basil pesto pasta with classic noodles, which I liked but couldn't finish. The standard size of the pasta noodles is 3m, I probably only ate 1m at most. I was able to take it away for lunch the next day!
Food came out promptly and service was good.
The pasta is ok depending on which dish and noodle you get. Good for group gatherings.
An enjoyable dinner - restaurant full about 6.30 on a Tuesday night. Service was excellent - even replaced our water bottle when it was low - we did not have to ask. Garlic bread cut into 6 pieces - not the three pieces for two you so often get. Pasta was delicious and well cooked. Will definitely return.
Good food, friendly service but i must admit the tables along the wall are nicer than the ones in the middle
Delicious pasta, big portions, fast service and great price! High chairs, paper and crayons were great to entertain the kids
The food is great. Rather than traditional, it’s rather novel and there will certainly be something for everyone’s taste—that’s if you like pasta of course.
It’s really the staff that set it apart, professional and courteous, and more than that they are thoughtful and considerate. The last time we went for an early dinner, the waitress (Vanessa) was more than accommodating, kind and discrete in helping ensure our little three year old enjoyed herself.
My son took us here for my husbands birthday.
The boys had the strawberry Daiquiri's it was great.
I had the gluten free pasta with the Seafood tomato base sauce. This was delicious and I was super impressed. There was a lot of pasta so I had enough to take home.
My son eats here regularly and ordered the creamy Cabonara chicken sauce, my husband had the spinach pasta with the same Cabonara sauce.
Really chewy, thick wide pasta! The carbonara was super tasty and the flavours really soaked into the pasta, would get again.
The lamb tagine was good with extra chilli, and you do get a couple bite sized pieces of nice tender lamb, but the sauce doesn't penetrate and it tasted more like plain pasta with sauce on top so I wouldn't get it again.
Tiramisu was very nice! Above average for tiramisu in Perth, and one serve was perfect between two people without being too much.
Overall would definitely come back and try more pasta:)
Had an enjoyable dinner in this place! The pasta tasted really good; generous portions, also ordered the pavlova cocktail and it was like having dessert in a drink. Definitely will come back.
Had takeaway pasta from them last night and as a pasta lover I could certainly tell they had every ingredient in the perfect amount and the pasta itself was cooked to perfection. I would recommend them to everyone that likes a good pasta.
The food was great and the serving size was decent. The wait staff are friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. It's a table service venue and parking is close enough.
The food is excellent, the service is great and the slideshow wall projection is odd but a fun point of conversation
Very flavourful dishes and playlist was banging dessert banged too. Good stuff, gotta come back and try everything else
Very upset about the two waiters of the night 12/10, we arrived at 8: 30 and then they said that the Kitchen was closed, of course it wasn’t I’ve been coming here for a while, not coming again for sure, pay attention of your staff please ;)
From order to food in front of us was 6 minutes. There was little care in the pre prepared slop of pasta we received. If it was like $16 it would have its place but don’t charge $28 for this pasta cup tat. Meals were cleared before the drinks even came out and we felt rushed the whole time. We were out the door in 20 minutes from arriving. It’s overpriced fast food. Plenty of other nice Italian around Perth.
