Shumi Shop

Friend recommended this store just from seeing it in the shopping centre.went to use their online site, ordered and never got the items. Just decided to dispute it with credit card.guy on phone was rude and didn't apologise for not processing the order months later.

This was my first time shopping with Shumi Shop and my last. Terrible customer service and a not my fault and too bad attitude when they've dropped the ball on their end.
Edit: Straight up lies in the owners response. Never once abused the staff only threatened to cancel my order after basically been told they're just too busy to organise my preorder that has been sitting there for three months. No response via email which is why I called and then disputed the charge through PayPal. Pretty indicative of the companies attitude to customers though.

Awesome place with an updated shop. Great staff knowledgeable on updates about manga and anime.

They ordered in one of the obscure funko pops for me and let me know as soon as it arrived, great service and price!

Pre ordered sailor posket in May & they can't locate it. So frustrated, poskets are sold out everywhere. Will never buy of them again. Lack of communication had to email a few times to get a response

Great range of products to pick form - they have also recently increased the amount of Manga & Comic books they supply so there is even more. Its also a great idea to gift, some of the statues can be expensive but they have amazing qualities. I have shopped a few times for me little ones and at all time the staff (presumably owners) were also the type of people who know about their industry. Its great to shop somewhere where their target is not defined by just KPi & Sales.

Moved into a house around 6 months that's very close to Shumi. I always love stopping by to see what new gems I might find. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Best store ever!

This store is a trip, I’ve been to Japan three times and this shop recreates the feeling of walking into a small collectibles shop in Akihabara extremely well. Their products are very reasonably priced, especially considering their size, and they offer a wide selection of manga as well as things I was not expecting to be able to find outside of Japan such as Ichiban Kuji or prize lotteries.

I have also ordered from their online store and their shipping is a great deal! Which is fantastic since I don’t live in the city. But I will be visiting this store any time I’m in Perth from now on!

A little shop but full of manga, posters, figures and more. The prices were surprisingly affordable and the staff were delightful.

This is the only place in Perth that sells a lot of anime figurines, manga, lotteries (Kuji). They also sells varieties of POP Vinyl. With covid19 around and travel is restricted to Japan - this is the place I always found myself coming back to every week. It's like mini Akihabara in Perth:)

A friend directed me here a few months back and although it's a far distance from me, the drive is worth it. This place is amazing for fans of anime and pop-culture. The customer service is FANTASTIC. When I expressed my disappointment of not being able to find the manga I was after, the kind gentleman running the store actually ordered it in for me! I was so touched! I now drive down every so often to buy it in bulk. Currently waiting on some new volumes to come in so I can pop in once more. Thank you so much Shumi Shop!

I shop online with these guys all the time, i play a lot of ichiban kuji! They have the best customer service I've ever experienced. Prizes and goodies are always well packaged with bubble wrap and with so much care aswell. Also super prompt with videos of your kuji plays! Couldn't recommend enough! Absolutely amazing:)

Amazing staff, amazing store! There is a lot of variety of anime figurines to choose from, I really had a hard time deciding what to purchase. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. I also ordered from them online and they had packaged my figurines with care; they were also very quick to response to my emails. Highly recommend!
