Shadow Wine Bar

Great atmosphere, friendly service, menu is compact and right on the money. A very professionally run restaurant and bistro, indicative of the evolving scene in Northbridge.

Nice atmosphere. Wine was alright. More expensive than other places. End up getting a peach desert as well which turned out to be super sweet. I might come back for the atmosphere but nor wine nor desert didn't impress me.

We we’re here two weeks ago. The service was fantastic! Knowable, caring, attentive. And the food was excellent. Every dish was spectacular in a different way. Mozzarella, chickpea fritters, crumbed pork, gnocchi (OMG the gnocchi) and cheese, glorious cheese. The only one that wasn’t exceptional we’re the potatoes. They were only delicious, not spectacular Thanks for a fantastic birthday dinner.

What a space! Great food and drink, probably looks a bit snooty at first glance because it’s so sharp in appearance, but from my experience the service was warm, authentic and approachable but top tier.

Perfect for a special night out

I went here for a couple of drinks but stayed for dinner. Service was good, drinks were good, the Crab spaghetti was fantastic.

Their food is very tasty and the service was excellent. The ambiance was nice for a weekday evening.

We've visited Shadow at least 5 times in the space of a few months and have never been disappointed. A very intimate, dimly lit and delightfully sheltered haunt where we are usually remembered and always valued. Perfection. 10/10 Bloody Marys and the Chocolate Nemesis is to actually die for.

I have book reservations for my wife birthday celebration 3 weeks ago for today and once she walk in the bar had told her there is no booking for Sandy, which is poorly taking reservation over the phone. Who ever taking the reservation need to be discipline. Not happy also they said they had place in the busy area. I am a regular customer and recommend before to my wife for good food and wine also good service.she had 8 of her friends tonight.

One of Northbridge's better venues. Great vibe. Chill staff. Fantastic drinks. Gimmick-free food that's still tasty and interesting.

Very fancy and nice. Quite expensive, not really my kind of place. Felt a bit uncomfortable, but my fancy friends love it.

It has been a ruff road for me with Shadow Bar. This is the place I had my first date with my partner. The food, perfection 11/10. The service has been hit and miss. In saying that the last time we went for our anniversary last year it started off so badly. But the Spanish manager was amazing, I was about to walk out but she gave me the service I expect for a meal and wine over $450.00 for two. She explained, described and offered so many suggestions. She is an asset. When you go and get the service right with the amazing food and wine this place is magical.

Such delicious food, decent selection of drinks with knowledgeable staff. Great location, although tables near the kitchen could be a bit noisy - but we always ask to be seated in one of their super comfortable and cosy booths.

Food was great. The restaurant was busy and had a nice vibe and look. Service sub par, had to ask for drinks a few times and there was no follow up with food order, we had to ask for place addition orders of food.
