Saowanee's Place Thai Restaurant

One of the best Thai restaurants in Perth. It might not have as many reviews as some other popular places in Northbridge but the food here is much better. I’m so happy I have finally found decent Thai food in Perth. Do yourself a favour and come try.

One of the best Thai Restaurants I’ve been so far. Food were so delicious, staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great food and service.
We had fried tofu and satay prawns as entrees and for the mains pad thai and drunken noodles with chicken both mains with just right amount of spice, the food was amazing as well as the staff

Had take away a few times from here. Food is delicious. Had Tom yum with chicken that was outstanding.

After nearly four years, we returned and had dinner at Saowanee's Place tonight. New owners, new decor but same tasty food and excellent service. Love the new look! Thank you for a very delicious meal and a lovely experience tonight. We will return. We recommend the beef massaman curry which is a must have.

The best Thai restaurant we have ever been in perth. Service was absolutely amazing and quick, food is amazing. Curries are must have. The place was full but they have arranged the whole patio area just for the two of us. Overall amazing

My group of 3 from Fremantle and Esperance went to Saowaneese to celebrate my birthday. This is our first time and we were all instantly impressed with the decor and friendly staff welcoming. We ordered:
Fried fish ballls
Goong chae nam pla
Gai yang
Pla/goong Sam-rodd
Chicken cashew stir fry
No photos taken of food which is a pity, it’s was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked a bottle of wine and non alcoholic cocktail. I had a fabulous birthday meal. We will definitely return. Thank you

This has been a 5 star restaurant for the past 12 years I've been coming here. Have tried many things from the menu over the years and everything has been amazingly tasty. In particular though the Saowanee's Tom Yum soup and the Panang curry are the best ive had in Perth. On top of this the staff have always been friendly and pleasant. Will be coming here for years to come.

Had the most amazing Thai food in Perth. Only wish we had bigger stomachs - great food, wonderful portions, beautiful service. The ambience is clean and refreshing, and so inviting.

My family has been eating here for years! We don’t live close - it’s a 45 minute drive - but we always eat here to celebrate every wedding anniversary and family member birthday. The food is well worth the drive!
So we were so sad when they closed for renovations last year! But the good news is they’re open again! And the new decor is awesome! So bright and welcoming. And the food and prices are just as fantastic as they always were! The staff are genuine and friendly - they always remember us.
Honestly, if you love authentic Thai food you HAVE to check this place out!

This place is amazing. Best Pad Thai and Thai green curry I've had out side of Thailand will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, me and my bf really enjoyed everything. The only thing I could say negatively about this place is they are long over due for a revamp of the place, it’s a bit run down and could use a makeover.

My partner is from Thailand so I wanted to take her to an authentic Thai restaurant for her birthday. She loved the papaya salad & the pla` rad phrik fish. The crunchy prawn salad was magnificant. The service and food was great, the food was plentiful and the owner makes your visit feel warm and like you are in their home. They have a good alcohol list and also a byo (wine only) licence. We booked a table of 7 and shared the dishes off the centre turntable. Saowanee even gave my partner some jars of her "world famous" sauces that she makes herself as a birthday gift. A very enjoyable evening.

Our favourite Thai restaurant in Perth. Came here for the first time 7 years ago and fell in love with their Pad Thai. I think it is the best I have ever had and I have come back for it many many times, it is just consistently great. My partner and I have also tried all their curries through out the years and they are all amazing. The food is definitely best when dining in but take away has been very good, too. The staff is super friendly and helpful with dietary requirements. I am already looking forward to our next visit. I can just highly recommend going there in general.
