Tucked away next to water where you can pull your boat up, have a beer or meal and go back on the water

We had reserved a table and went to place our order, l was asked what our table number was. I said our table had no number, she would not take our order without a table number, my friend went back and confirmed our table had no number, the person shrugged her shoulders and grudgingly took our order, see attached photo of our booking. Grumpy negative face for the business, not a great business model to tell your customers they are wrong.table service was excellent however.

40 min wait for food, because the bar staff did not put the docket to the kitchen. Ask about entrees and kids meals, wait another 20 mins wait. Oh and the mains won't come out for another 20 after that. What a joke. Then to top it off, my steak was the wrong steak.

The bristro staff are very friendly and work in such a professional manner

The staff dealt with her in such a professional manner (better than she deserved)
We felt so special and welcomed with the friendly staff and the meals were great.we will be back with the family for sure

Waited over an hour for our entrees and kids meals after they "lost our dockets twice" then waited another 30 minutes and STILL NO MAINS staff were so RUDE AND WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

Food was delicious, 5 salads to choose from, steaks are so good, parmigiana and snacks on other people's tables looked so yummy! Awesome variety of beers on tap.

The food was excellent, the staff were awesome and thank you to all the staff and chef who worked on the 18th oct 2021. We bought a couple of people out told them our history of south yunderup and they too were very impressed with the tavern they didn't even know it was there. We will be returning again in near future thank you again.

Great food with friendly service. Plus a great location if your looking for something a little different.

Great pub, great atmosphere. The menu was quite extensive and had a good Seniors menu.
Prices were reasonable. There is a nice park where children can play and plenty of parking.

My creamy garlic prawns were perfect. The best I've had in a long time. The prawns were a good size and cooked well. The rice was perfect and there was a perfect amount of creamy garlic sauce to match the rice. The portion size was lovely and the price was realistic. I will definately be back again and happy to recommend.

Family friendly, kids steaks are generous size. Love that the tab is accessible in sports bar and not in a different room.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, value for money and the best creamy Garlic prawns in the Peel! Despite being a busy Mothers Day our food came out reasonably quick with excellent portion sizes. Steaks, burgers and garlic prawns were all amazing. Worth the stop and we would definetly stop there again! Buy a round for the team, they deserve it (see the menu).

Weekend away crabbing with the old blokes. Tea at Sandy Cove Tavern was very enjoyable. Great prices, live music and free raffles. Can't go wrong on a Friday night.

Nice Location alongside open canal waterway the Murray River. Large food portions competitively priced against other venues. Good choices available off the menu. If you sit inside just be prepared to accept very loud, sometimes potentially excessive noise during your lunch and or dinner. Outside has some nice limited seating areas. Be prepared to potentially wait long periods of up to and over 40 minutes for your meals to arrive at tables. Can be a a bit hit and miss, otherwise recommend this establishment as a go to in the area.

Great food, big portions, could be slightly smaller and still satisfying. Very noisy in echoing inside area. Great venue on the river. Can arrive by boat.

Fish burger and chips was good value -: but the two ducks that walked inside and pooped on the carpet, flew into the glass window were a nuisance.
