In every way excellent. Food, service, setting and location are outstanding. Right on the canals. Could not recommend it high enough. Will be going back for sure.

We had a great post cycling lunch here. The service is outstanding, even staff explaining a better size meal for me. I had calamari without the fries, heaps of salad the seafood was tender

Meals are large and tasty, better to sit outside as it's very noisy inside.

Steak was perfectly cooked 300 gram porterhouse. Staff were welcoming & jovial, checked if the meal was OK & if we were happy with it & interacted with our 4 year old (I appreciate a good maître d'). Large meal, I couldn't finish it! Great service, lovely view, great prices. Couldn't ask for more.

Table was a little dirty (in the deeper grooves of the wood, table surface was clean)

Nice pub. Great spot. Outdoor play ground seperated from the pub with no fence. Need to supervise kids as close to road and river

Awesome meal with my family, 8 of us. As usual the food was delicious and staff very friendly and accommodating. Compliments to all!

Ordered steak medium rare - specifically said closer to rare please tell the chef… Steak completely over cooked brown and tough as guts. Got it re done and was still exactly the same. Disappointed to spend over $60 on a simple meal that the chef couldn’t get right.

Not so impressed chicken wings were off 2 of our guests who are them were I'll. Bruschetta was awful.

Great menu, great food, very good service, very friendly staff, we have been there twice in two weeks. More great food on the menu to try yet.

Had the best tavern food we have enjoyed for many a year. Kids (Including 2 teenagers) give the tavern the best ever award, staff were a real treat, Air-conditioning system I would gladly have at my abode! Can't praise this business enough. Oh yes the big 1, the prices were more than reasonable!

The Pizza's here put Dominions and any other pizza place to shame

It's improved a lot. Food is very good with veggo and gluten free options available.
Not sure about the half naked skimpy barmaid wearing a face mask though. That just looked plain weird!
