Outstanding experience! Exquisite food, cosy atmosphere and wonderful staff. You’d have to go a long way to find better than here. It really was that good.

Friendly service with a great understated atmosphere. Food was fantastic, menu changes fairly frequently but would recommend the Rib fingers and Parmesan chips as well as the grilled octopus. Strawberry Mille-Feuille was a delicious end to the night.

Very inviting, warm and cosy atmosphere with fireplace and candles throughout, super tasty food, perfect wine list and the service was excellent! Special mention re Nanna (hope I spelled this correctly.) lovely danish girl who was super attentive, thanks for an awesome evening team!

Cannot speak highly enough about our experience at the Paddock! Group of 14 for a milestone birthday and all universally had a fabulous evening. Young and more experienced staff were delightful, fun and attentive; food was sensational; venue was flexible and interesting - semi-private room for our sit down dinner; moved to a standup area in front of fire for cake and cocktails. Such a great night we have booked dinner with friends in a few weeks.

We are incouraged, that despite, the arrogance and rudeness of the general public, the staff at Samson's still tolerate our nonsense with huge smiles and a propensity to make our time in their presence enjoyable.
With my friends we celebrated new years eve, along with excellent cooking, supported with attentive but not intrusive wait professionals. We must not forget staff shortages and other difficulties still plaguing hospitality makes this restaurant even more remarkable, worthy of our support, thank you.

The service is exceptional. The food is well-thought out and presented beautifully. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and take pride in what they're serving, they're prompt, friendly, welcoming. We ordered the meat tasting board, the grass and grain-fed portions had gristle which should have been easily removed when trimming. As stud and commercial angus cattle producers we know good beef! We let the waitress know, just as a courtesy to the kitchen team and she was apologetic and sincere. The meat was cooked perfectly. Overall, a lovely experience. Thank you!

Food is always sensational, with the sticky wagyu beef ribs an absolute must for regulars and first timers. The food, wine, whisky and beer are a diverse and well curated list with something delicious for everyone.
Whether you choose cold drinks outside in the sun or a cosy fireplace couch spot, you'll enjoy amazing food brought to you by a an equally awesome team of dedicated hospo legends.

Food tastes ok but compared to the price not ok.

The portion however is very disappointingly small.
No wonder why is this place is quiet on a Friday night. Wouldn’t recommend anyone here except for beers.

Held my birthday dinner for 10 at Samson's Paddock - the team were so helpful and accommodating and the food was exceptional! Service was great and we all had a wonderful experience - highly recommend for any and all occasions! Thankyou

Roomy and casual, with seating inside or out in the garden. Full table service provided by enthusiastic staff and proprietor.

An MKR type menu, with plenty of share plates, but there's something for most people. They have an extensive beverage list and American Express cards are accepted.

We went there for our son's birthday. It has a very inviting feel and the dining room was lovely. The staff were very friendly also. The steak our son ordered was mouth watering. Everyone was catered for and very happy with their meal choices. We are definitely going back.

Had an amazing special dinner Samson's Paddock last night with a whisky and steak paring. They were a pleasure to organise with, so accomodating and made the night run absolutely smoothly. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the ambiance was so warm, full of wood, fireplaces, leather couches and Edison bulbs. Highly recommend

Amazing food and friendly staff!

My partner an dined here on a cold Friday night, the place is warm and cosy, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic, and the dessert.the Strawberry Mille-Feulle is a must try, although I hear they will be changing up the menu, I had a laugh with the chefs trying to convince them to keep it on the meu!

Great place and cant wait to come back!

What a wonderful night. Just wanted a steak so booked to go to Samsons Paddock because of reviews.
Not disappointed from start to finish, great service, wonderful food, cocktail.
We decided on the taster plate of steak and the mushroom and snow pea side. Steak was perfect and vegetables so tasty. Dessert … Pineapple tart and Strawberry Millefeuille were best desserts we have had for awhile.
Well worth going.

Had a fantastic meal at Sampson’s Paddock during the week. The duck breast was out of this world delicious and can highly recommend the broccolini salad & wagyu ribs too. Lovely outdoor area with wood fire & heaters above each table. Can’t wait to come back & try more menu items!

Fantastic atmosphere, wine, and food - came back and upgrading my review after having perfectly cooked octopus this time and perfectly seasoned delicious food! Loved the stracciatella salad, kingfish, pasta, fish - everything was delicious! Excellent service! Thank you!
