Salvos Stores Morley reviews
29 A Charity shop that sells items at high prices. I'm no longer sure whether this is a charity thing or a pure for profit venture.
Don't charity shops get stuff for free? Why the exorbitent prices?
Was able to purchase good quality items (book, kitchen utensil, long–sleeved flannel shirt, pashmina scarf/shawl) for gifting at a fraction of a cost!
What a bargain indeed!
I took an elderly gentleman to the Morley store today to find a jacket so he could take the zip off and put on another jacket. We left minutes later in disgust. The jacket he chose was stained and torn which didn’t matter because all he wanted was the zip. The price was exorbitant given the quality. When the elderly gentleman asked for $4 off, he was told in no uncertain terms that that was the price and he could take it or leave it. The Salvation Army is a BUSINESS. They do not do anything unless they are paid to do it. This extends to homelessness and feeding the poor. Today proved what my friend who works for the salvos has been telling me for ages. The do not care if they can’t turn a dollar. They are a billion dollar organisation who should have their charitable status stripped. The lady in the shop today is was nothing short of rude. If you want cheap clothes and compassion go to good Sammie’s.salvos will only rip you off

Great store good mix of clothes furniture bric a brack and electrical. Can be more expensive than other salvo stores.
Amazing staff, good value. Proceeds go to support Salvation Army programs like rehab, homeless support, domestic violence support.
Store is usually pretty messy. But you kind of have to expect that in an op shop as busy as this one.
Pretty good there.was clean and tidy when I was last there. Friendly staff always and veru helpful. Thanks plenty.
