Paid $25 for the smallest amount of food ever I am absolutely disgusted in how much they charged for this little food that taste like straight oil

What have I been missing? I am just a 5min drive away. Had Saltys tonight for the first time and I would have traveled 30 mins to get this beautiful fish and chips. Would rank the best in all the years I have lived in the area.

Just had the most insane burger from here, always enjoy the fish and chips but finally got round to having the burger and now I’m going to have to make the hardest decision of my life every time I order…. Absolutely mint burger, so delish cheers guys

Me and my family have been going to saltys for the past two years and the fish and chips have always been the best in WA, the owner is an absolute legend always such great service and budget friendly! Tonight I had the burger for a change and oh my lord was it the best burger I’ve ever had just so juicy and full of flavour couldn’t recommend it enough well done guys! You never disappoint!

I've eaten at Saltys Chippery twice so far, and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals. These would be great fish and chips even if they weren't gluten free. (My gluten tolerating partner happily eats the gluten free version!) They're celiac friendly (and diligent about it) with excellent service and actual *choice* on the menu. If you're gluten free I'm sure you can understand how big a deal this is. I've talked with the guys in store and they really care about the gluten free community. I've also had a fast turnaround on both of the orders I've placed for them, and their delivery is fast and friendly. Thank you Saltys!

As brits in australia, we were looking for an authentic fish and chips on a friday night.salty’s exceeded our expectations - lovely gentleman who took our order, amazing fish, and fantastic sides.we will be back:)

I love saltys chippery so much every time I come here it’s always delicious. I am gluten free and there are so many good options and I have never felt unwell after eating here. The people who work here especially the man who is usually taking orders is always so warm, nice and so helpful. 10/10

Had heard great reviews about the Gluten free fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious, fresh and great selection of GF options. The owner and staff were welcoming and friendly. All GF food was marked and packed separately. The lovely staff member even carried our large order to my car. My coeliac daughter gobbled her meal up so quickly and asked when can we go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

This place is by far, the best fish and chips in the area. I'm so glad I have changed to a place that gives fresh fish and hot crunchy chips. Not fishless pockets of fried batter like other places. Highly recommend this place

Had fish and chips here on Fri night for the first time after seeing good reviews. We had the gluten free battered barramundi and chips. It was ok but nothing special, fish was very oily and only average taste. The chips were good but no better than most other places. The portion size was very good, no problems there. Noticed the staff all seemed content and friendly but the shop is very small and cluttered and looked a little untidy. Obviously it is a busy shop and popular with locals. Overall it was ok, nothing special but worth a try if you’re in the area, you may find it better than we did. We travelled a distance to get there and wouldn’t bother with it again.

Excellent food, good service, very nice gentleman behind the counter, although the order took slightly longer due to large amount of orders flooded the kitchen. Shark fish was tasty, scallops were crispy and fresh

We used to go to the Coogee plaza one but was really disappointed on our last visit so we looked for a new Fish and Chip place and came across this one. We LOVED it. It was so fresh, the lemon was a fantastic touch and the service was incredible too. This is now our new fish and chip place.

Coeliacs Delight!
Had the pleasure of getting fish and chips from this business following a recommendation on a Gluten Free Facebook site and I was not disappointed.
The serves were huge and the quality was excellent. For those requiring gluten free they have GF batter and a separate fryer for those who need to avoid gluten.
While speaking with the owner he advised that they are also going to get a new hot plate so they will be providing GF burgers in the future as well as options for salads and steamed vegetables.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Had a late night craving for fish and chips and only Saltys was open so decided to give it a try. And ohmygosh… most times when you have a craving, what you get doesn’t really hit the spot but the fish, chips and onion rings from Saltys way exceeded expectations. Easily the best I’ve had in a while!

The food and the service at Saltys is second to none. Rob and the boys go out of their way to deliver THE best fish and chips we have had. As visitors from Tasmania there would be one major reason to re visit Fremantle. SALTYS.

Best fish and chips around! Amazing service and superb quality and quantity! The gravy and curry sauce are soo delicious! We don’t order fish and chips from anywhere else. Very happy to give business to an owner who genuinely cares about his customers:)

Wonderful service, make sure you check with the boss man for the freshest fish. The best part was the beautiful flaky red emperor. Batter is crispy AF and chips cooked to perfection. Bonus points for the kiwi hot dogs!

Amazing fish with generous portions. Staff were lovely which makes the trip here definitely worth it.
