Amazing Aftercare, value for money and good advice. Love the fact that they sell hemp products for pets! Skittles was very thankful and greatful!

My dog cut her paw and I took her to Sage South street where they charged me $907.00 to stitch and bandage her paw. I was told that the next two visits were included in the cost. I returned to Sage Bull Creek to get the bandage changed and was again charged $69.00 for the cost of the bandage, that didn’t included any consultation charges. A bit of gauze, cloth bandage and some tape doesn’t cost $69.00.
I don’t mind paying a fair price for any service but I do feel Sage Vets overcharge and I’d recommend anyone who needs care for their pet to shop around and understand the prices before committing to any treatment. I’ve learnt my lesson and hopefully this will help other not fall into the same trap.

This is a bit of a long review about my experience with Sage Vets, but a necessary one.
My dog had an umbilical hernia when I got him at 11 weeks old. When he was spayed, I asked that the hernia be fixed at the same time, which was no problem. 3 months down the track I noticed several small bumps where the hernia had been and took him straight back to the vet, who diagnosed it as a hernia relapse. Much to my devastation it was suggested that they go back in and repair the hernia and the surgery took place the following day. When I went in to pick him up the vet informed me that the hernia had not in fact relapsed, but scar tissue had formed around the internal stitches creating the lumps. As expected, I was pretty annoyed that I had forked out over $700 for the surgery which was ultimately unnecessary. On top of this, my poor pup had a bad reaction to the new stitches (bleeding, discharge and new scar tissue).
Fast forward another 6 weeks and boom, his hernia came back. Took him to the same veterinary and was told that he would need another $500 surgery to repair the hernia AGAIN.
Safe to say I have not been back since. This service made me feel like they were only interested in the money could not be trusted to make a correct diagnosis.
Please everyone be careful and get a second opinion.

Couldn't be happier with the service from the veterinarians and the staff out front. Genuine concern and even follow up calls.

Amazing vet taught me to give my cat her medication crushed up in vegimite and butter. Recommended to spread it on her paws to lick off. Turns out, just give her the spoon to lick. Saved both of us! Thank you!

Louisa has been so helpful - really friendly and knowledgable, kept us informed and ran all the necessary tests to diagnose our dog’s condition quickly. Definitely recommend!

Helped offer a good solution for our dog Charlie's arthritis, and phoned to follow up on the day of his injection and the next day too. We have had a few less satisfactory experiences at Sage in the past but we decided to stick with them after providing feedback on our concerns, and in recent times the standard of care and vet knowledge/experience has greatly increased.

Had my dog speyed there by a Dr Les. Did an incredibly good job the incision was an inch or less long. Couldn't believe how quickly she has healed up i would happily recommend this vet to anyone.

This is a great vet, I've been taking my cat here for the last 3 years. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the vets are very gentle and caring with the animals.

They are very clear and thorough when they explain both the condition of your pet and how to treat them, and are very patient with questions.

Not a good vet and will not trust them with my animals. All about money, they don’t care about the animals at all. Please be carful.

This is my second experience with ‘Sage Vets’ and on both occasions I have found all the staff welcoming, warm, friendly, caring, and helpful not only to myself but to my furry family as well. What more could I ask for!

The waiting area is comfortable, and the atmosphere is ‘homely’ in such a way that it resembles a relaxing lounge room, and not a waiting area.
I have a very anxious, nervous, snappy little dog, and during the consult I was concerned for Dr Les and his fingers. Dr Les was calm, patient, and kind whilst he carefully examined my ageing snapping mutt. I was impressed.

After my dog had his pre-med injection, I was able to sit comfortably with my dog in the waiting room and once he was relaxed and settled he was then taken for his dental treatment.

I was sent a reassuring text message a little later in the day advising me that all was well, and he was recovering well after his treatment.

When I went to pick up my dog, I was given a personalised (named) doggy bag which contained information regarding pet dental health, a generous sized sample pack of dog biscuits, a pen, and a sturdy pet lead.

I appreciate that Sage Vets has looked after my anxious dog so well, and has also taken into consideration both of our needs to make this visit and treatment as stress free as possible for both of us.

A wonderful service with wonderful, caring staff. Thank you so much.

Jenny was wonderful. I think she is often moved from vets to vets. First Class person and the cat is now fine.

My poor little dog Widget has an abscess on her bottom. I didn't have an appointment but it wasn't a problem. All the staff are wonderful - friendly, professional and very caring. Widget was treated very well. The bill was reasonable too.

On 31 January 2019 my beautiful 14 year old dog named Choc had a stroke.couldn't find a vet opened.we rang Sage and told us to bring her over.we arrived dead on 8pm. Our vet had shut. All the staff were so wonderful to my puppy.they commented what a gentle soul she was. The staff gave me a bag with her portrait and yesterday a card arrived with her paw print on it. I've never cried so much. I knew in my heart Choc was not coming home as she was paralysed from from waist down. I can't praise and thank all the staff for their compassion and empathy to my girl.and especially made sure she was comfortable over night. I can't thank you guys enough Regards Sharon

We are always very happy with the service provided to our little dog, Huggy Bear when he has his checkups or any dental work required. He is part of our family, so we appreciate the professional care the staff always show him. He is a senior dog, but still full of life with a great appetite, so we were recommended their new brand of dog food, 5 Dogs, he loves it, a great alternative to his biscuits. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Sage Vets.

Caring staff. However, 2nd time we couldn't get in for an emergency and had to go to Murdoch Animal Hospital.
