Would 10/10 recommend this lovely Indian restaurant, from the minute we walked in the door the customer service was excellent, even the chef greeted us and asked us what we would like and have us plenty of options! The portions are a nice generous size and rice comes with the dish witch is a huge bonus! The food and flavours are amazing from the 4 dishes we tried and the two starters:) thanks for having us and being so welcome! We will definitely be back!

Shared a $14.50 X2 Curry lunch deal with a friend which we chose butter chicken and Chicken Korma Unfortunately both dishes contained mainly thin sauce and not much in the line of solids but our main issue was it was barely warm and was served with a bit of white rice which was stuck together so no suprise very little was consumed. When I paid it was $16.00
so I am a little confused! Was the extra $1.50 for the rice or the tap water we were given?
Sorry I remember we also got a onion b and that was also cold so now I know what the $1.50 was for?

The most amazing Indian food I've ever eaten, and the hosts are lovely people too. If you love curry, this is the place to go. I've tried many Indian restaurants all around Perth.for me, this is without doubt the best.give it a go

It's a shame when you order Al a carte and are served by Baine Marie curries. No words left to say.

They have one of the buttered chicken I’ve tried.

Giving them 4 stars as I think their naan bread could be thicker. No issues in the tastes thou. I find it too thin.

Always fresh and delicious range of curries. Staff are super friendly and always willing to go above and beyond for every customer. I have been going there for years and recommend to everyone without hesitation.

The curries were amazing, the butter chicken yum thank you to beautiful Marie for the great service.

We spontaneously decided to have lunch at Saaj and were glad we did. The food was excellent and filling. The dishes were Madras Lamb and Chicken Korma. Also freshly made naan. The service was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I always go to Saaj and it’s our favourite Indian food. The owner is always lovely and goes out of her way to give the best service. Food is always super tasty and naan bread is delicious. Highly recommend

Saaj never disappoints! The moment you walk in you are greeted with amazing customer service and then always followed by the BEST curry and naan around!

Update: We ordered take away last night, preferred their indo Chinese but that menu isn’t available. So we ordered some other dishes. And I’m soo sorry to say that it wasn’t even edible. It was unbelievable how a restaurant can serve such horrible food. We couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. I can tell the owner or chef has changed. Very sad, never going to eat here again.
Butter chicken: food coloring in lots and lots of oil. I could taste the oil.
Paneer jalfrezi- some paneer and capsicum in lots of tomato paste and food coloring!
Goat curry- decent edible.

We always enjoy indo Chinese dishes here, the chicken fried rice, chilli chicken, veg Manchurian and American chowpsey are delicious. The flavors are very similar to what we used to have in Delhi so thank you! Please keep the quality and taste same in future too.

We always order Indo Chinese food from Saaj. It is yummy as always. Various options for us vegetarians. Thanks to. Mr. Abdul for being helpful.

Just ordered take away Vindaloo & Butter chicken both these dishes in my opinion made with the same base and the “chef” just twist made to make a difference.first time I have ever seen a Vindaloo RED in colour yes RED not a brown rich colour with eight (8) small cubes piece of beef.yes had to count them because I couldn’t find meat in the SEA of RED gravy the Butter Chicken Orange yes Orange in colour and Sweet … sweet.and here too Oceans of gravy no chicken …butter Nan … dry not moist dry and the rice well you would think no one could mess that up but hey dry with lumps of rice together - worst meal not Indian worst meal they started off great now taking short cuts

Staff are very friendly, the food is great and the lunch specials are a bargain. The only thing that I didn’t really like was that they didn’t have big bottles of tap water for the tables and so you had to ask the waitress to refill your cup each time. Other than that it was good service and food.

I mentioned with hard heart that the atmosphere of place is very noisy. I have been there in December. Staff was very friendly but they are using to much food coloring which changes the taste of food. Their food taste is weird and very hard to eat. All in all un-responsible service.

I ordered this takeaway on Uber Eats for my best friend’s birthday. There was some issue with the delivery person and 90 minutes after ordering, Uber Eats informed me that my order had been canceled! I was pretty upset as this was a way for me to treat my best friend (I live in Taiwan) and now it was nearly 8 pm— too late to order another dinner in time. Lo and behold, moments later my friend’s doorbell rang and there was an employee from the restaurant hand delivering it to her door! The issue was with the delivery partner, NOT the restaurant, but they went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and deliver their food in person. That’s pretty great service and on top of that, the food was delicious!
