Rosso's Italian Restaurant

Ok food, for a local restaurant, staff very friendly. My only complaint was that I felt at times they were trying to rush us, there is no need for waiters to visit your table every 2 minutes to ask if you need something. Yes be attentive, but not the the point where it becomes a nuisance. Other than that had a nice evening.

Although the lunch specials were cheaper I got the lasagna, and it was amazing. Even very expensive places struggle to do a good lasagna but this place nailed it!

We've been here a few times now. Food is good, servings are generous, staff are very friendly and helpful. I found the lasagne too tomato-ey but that's just my personal taste, not necessarily a bad thing. It can be a bit noisy, especially if there are large groups. Overall a good local Italian restaurant.

Went 25.9.2019 with a friend who took me out for my birthday and who recommended iwe go there as she said it was a place with real authentic Italian food, I’m still yet to find one! The starter was a Bruschetta which we shared and was nice. My main was the spaghetti marinara which was not at all good. The mussels? Shriveled up tiny bits of? Authentic Italian food? I’m sorry but the sauce tasted nothing like the sauce from Italian heritage, it tasted like it wasn’t cooked or have that richness a great sauce should have, my friend ordered the fettuccine rague with beef cheek and again? No richness in the sauce, not authentic! The pasta was fresh. We shared a dessert of the White chocolate mango cheesecake which tasted old and not fresh a huge disappointment. I won’t be back again! The best thing on the night was the bruschetta and our waitress who was lovely and gave us great service.

Nice italian restaurant. Even it was very busy the team was very kind and warm. Food delicious, good portions size, I'll definitly come back and recommand.

We ordered take out but didn't realise we had the wrong menu and tried to order a starter not available for take away. However, staff were accommodating and prepared our request anyway. We got pizza for the main, it was good but I prefer their pasta.

Lunch, we ate:
Spaghetti Marinara – Fresh seafood in a tomato based sugo
Cozze Pommodore – Chilli mussels in a tomato based sugo with bread
Scallopini Con Limone – Thin beef steaks in a lemon, cream and white wine sauce, served with Italian potatoes and sautéed spinach
Pizza Rustica – Leg ham, pineapple, onion
Chips - With aioli

That one dish all of us cheers for Super Delicious is the Chilli Mussels. The sugo is so powerful! Didnt save a drop!

Order it as a Main or a Side or just Takeaway. Go for it!
