Riverview Tourist Park reviews
68 Wonderful place to stay in Margaret River, is so close to town you have all the comfort but at the same time you are surrounded by nature.
The bench near the river is the perfect spot to take a moment to relax!
Our cabin was perfect and met all our necessity, also it was spotless clean.
And of course Steph and Donna are amazing and always helpful!
Fab and I hope to see each other again very soon thanks for everything!
Beautiful quiet hidden gem
Staff absolutely lovely
Will definately be my choice for down south stays
Thoroughly enjoyed each and every second at our deluxe holiday unit. I cannot express how much satisfaction I have with our accommodation. It was clean and comfortable everywhere, including the showers and kitchen. I liked how the kitchen is separate from the bedroom, we are able to close the door to prevent any cooking smells and with the rangehood.
We enjoyed the location of the nearby trails as well. Stars are able to be seen from time to time when the skies are not so cloudy. We were also able to connect to Netflix and enjoy our favourite shows after a long day of hikes and whale watching in Augusta.
Overall, fantastic experience I will continue to rave about with adequate facilities. It is a quiet location with Woolworths just down the road and the heart of the town only 5 minutes or so away. Smoke alarms in the living and bedroom. Would be keen to see a clock installed in the unit.
I literally cannot wait to stay with Riverview again. Super amazing, so happy. Glad we stayed here over our initial choice within the town. Big shoutout to the reception ladies we met during check-in and check-out. Super friendly.as well as Frank the duck (definitely say hi to him if you get the chance!). Thank you for having us, can't wait for the next stay!
We stayed for a week in a cabin in the middle of July with a 2 year old and it was FANTASTIC!
Upon arrive we were greeted by Donna who was so warm and welcoming. When we got to our cabin we found it pristine clean and with a highchair like we had requested.
Proper mattresses in both the king and queen bedrooms, with proper quilts and electric blankets, so we slept well and warm. The kitchen was decked out with all the utensils etc that we required as well.
The area was so peaceful and quiet and we were able to feed the birds just outside our front door. It was a really wonderful family holiday thanks to great accommodation!
Room was ok. Sink stained but clean, very chemical smell. TV didn't work and couldn't be fixed.
Park around was pretty, lots of gardens and birds.
We had a powered site, amenities were clean and fresh, found the showers to be a bit on the small side, but other than that very good
Well located to main retail strip in Margaret River. Cabins well appointed, various size cabins available. A well developed site, each cabin having own car parking space. Good family atmosphere. Quiet at night. Best sleep ever. Highly recommend.
I loved the cabin I stayed in I was the perfect size for a single person. The only downside to the cabin was the position of the TV. On the top of the fridge was not a good position and was a little hard to see but overall it was a nice experience.
Love the birds around the property tweet in the morning. The location is fine, not too far from the city. Suit for short-term stay with a budget. The reception lady is accommodating and friendly.
The staff was very friendly, nice and welcoming. Nice chalet and clean, close to the centre very convenient. But the TV remote is broken and doesn't work (not a big issue). Would love to go back again.
Basic park but recommended the enquire sites.
Beautiful picnic spot and access to the river where you can hire canoes
Small abolutions area with only 3 showers and 2 toilets. Really bad and inconsistent Wi-Fi speeds, sometimes it’s fine sometimes it’s horrendously slow.
Enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay at Riverview Tourist Park. Excellent location approx 10 minute walk to shops & Margaret River main road. Stayed in chalet 31 which was close to the laundry & kitchen facilities. The river is roughly 100m away & if you walk the river bank there is a bridge which you can swim from. Nice holiday location for the price. Would happily return!
Clean and tidy park. Well located next to river with good walking/riding trails along river. Free Wi-Fi is very slow
My new favourite place to crochet, such fun company on the little deck of our unit!
Quiet surroundings, pretty river walks, friendly wildlife, (though I think they have actually tamed us) and a lovely clean unit made a really nice short stay.
Get yourself a packet of wild bird seed from reception, totally worth it!?
It's a great place to stay very quiet and close to the river there are plenty of birds around the park the ablution blocks are clean and probably in need of an update.
If you want your temporary slice of the Margaret River for water fun, you can.
Nice and quiet cabins or park your RV or camp. No fuss and hassle free.
Lovely site by river. Many different walks through forest. Nature all around. Easy walk into town and supermarket. Staff extremely helpful. Definitely 5 star all the way.
This tourist park has been a family favourite for almost 30 years. And it gets better every visit! These days I can afford the chalets, in the old days we stayed in the budget cabins and used the shower block: a great home away from home!
Stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom and the accomodation was perfect for the 3 of us. Location perfect for getting out and exploring the region by car but the local walks near the park are great too. The electric blankets on the beds went down a treat as did the split system too.
Local wildlife was great for our little man and the option to hire a canoe was pretty cool. Well priced for everything you got!
Support the locals, they need us city folk to get down and keep them going!
