Riverton Bridge Park reviews
42Good for launching kayaks etc but too many boat users take up areas not designed for them etc because they are too lazy to find a boatramp. Its a non powered launch area.
After a business meeting, on the way home, a short pitstop to relax and prepare my senses for the rest of the eve. The gentle breeeze from the river, the frolic sound of the children and families, people conversing.the sounds of life. It was more the pleasant - it reminds one of the beautiful life we live here in Perth
Byo picnic, byo good company, entertainment provided free by the dolphins, swans and ducks. Lovely way to end the day
Council has done tremendous work on this Park and it is now becoming a popular spot for family picnics.
Great place. Perfect spot for any activity. Really nice playground and cafe. Calm water for a Paddle and great paths for cycling or running.
Lo quay is very expensive and often hard to get a table. Seagulls are a nuisance. Beautiful setting and lovely playground
Great little spot especially for kayaks/canoes and small boats. When it's high tide, you can take boats up to around 3 or 4 metres around the south side of the bridge but on the low tide you're lucky to float on your own back without hitting the bottom.
Nice place to visit by the river, sometimes ducks and ducklings are here along with swans and their cygnets! The photo I have attached is of the leach highway bridge where lots of people like to go fishing and is a nice shady position!
Laid back, plenty of shade. Friendly bird life. Plenty of parking. The Cafe nearby makes an excellent steak sandwich.
Nice place to spend afternoon with kids by the side of beautiful Canning river. There are a lot of facilities like playground, a cafe, fishing option, BBQ and public toilet. It is also good for canoeing as there is a ramp. The public toilet closed 8: 30pm.
Great location.beautiful just to sit on the banks of the river and relax on one of the many park benches.and just 'watch the day go by'. Heaps of grassed area on the other side of the bridge. Quality playground area for the smaller kids, safe and secure. Also has a couple of BBQ's too.and a Cafe a little further along for all those who love their coffee (and yes, it does brekky & lunch). Enjoy, it really is a top spot hidden in the 'burbs'!
Nice little river side park. Sits along the banks of the Canning river. It boost a nice cafe with outside seating. Plenty of parking for large family reunions. Has a play pen for the youger one's. Plenty of shade from surrounding trees. And park bench to sit and rest on while you think about your day. Not a overly large park but its all the goodies you expect of a larger size park.
A nice location. Playground is fun for young kids. Was also impressed to find the cafe open until 5pm on a Saturday.
A beautifully designed park, but unfortunately the flying fox swing was locked with a chain, the volcano had no water spray and the kids water fountains were hardly working.this wonderful park is desperately needing maintenance. Avoid going there midday or when it's too hot.
It's a park situated on the Canning River, ideal for wilderness paddling (prolific bird life, fist, reed plants and paper bark trees). Contains excellent strolling paths, good for cycling and running. Nice place for a picknick.
Lovely spot for a BBQ, picnic or if you wish use the cafe right there on the river front. There is built in BBQ, play ground area along with public toilets and lots of car parking. Great place for a family get together or for a nice walk around the river.
A family friendly place with an adventure playground. A good place to pull up for a coffee whether you are driving or kayaking and plenty of bird life to photograph.
Great for an outdoor adventure with your dog, your music or your best friend.the trail and the bush around it makes you feel like a kid again.
Beautiful spot. Riverside view with lovely riverside paved walk and bike tracks through bush and urban areas.
Gorgeous quiet spot for a walk, to sit and read a book on the seats, walk the dog, cycle, bbq, chill or catch a coffee at the coffee shop a short walk away. Busy on weekends and holidays. Ive also fished near here (with not much luck - try further downstream). Also a popular spot for canoeing. Nicely planted trees along the bank for shade.
