It's next to the bridge. Has bbq facilities, benches and very well maintained grass. My dog likes it here. Also have bins and dogs poop bags. Very convenient, and I'd recommend it overall.

Really good! Great cafe, wonderful view, immersive playground for ages 4-9. Can get quite busy.

Always so beautiful down here. Love how everyone is so kind and polite. Saying hi as they walk past and keen for a chat by the river. Area is kept clean and very tidy

Nice area for a park. Great views. Nice place to eat a snack or go to the restaurant nearby. Restrooms are disgusting.

A lovely park, small and fairly close to the road.

It's peaceful to look over the river here and watch the birds.

It is a popular walking spot and there is a good cafe just over the bridge that is very popular.

There is also a phone charging station next to the picnic table for those who need one.

Beautiful park on the Canning river with free use of the BBQ's. Can get busy on weekend's and parking is limited

Riverton Jetty Park in located alongside the beautiful Canning River in Wilson. It features a gorgeous little nature based playground with low level slides and platforms, and nature play features like a water fountain and lots of rocks and logs to climb and balance on. Parking can be difficult on a busy day. Toilets, BBQs and Cafe Availalbe.

I discovered this place after having brunch at Lo Quay Cafe. It’s absolutely stunning and perfect for walks along the river. Plenty of shade, benches and spots on the grass to relax.

Browsing the local cooling off in the evening by walking, running, cycling or something and picnic on the lawn area under the trees! The side residency also watching on dining with family and friends on their balcony. Many cars, parking lot enough. I don't see people crabbing here.

Great place to just chill and have time with yourself or with close friends/family. Always a nice breeze even on these hot summer days

Local little park that's great for a walk, to sit on the benches or a small picnic. If you follow the path under leach Hwy bridge you'll reach Shelley Foreshore. Ample parking around the riverside or near lo Quay Cafe nearby. Can't really see the sunset cause of the houses but it's still nice and quiet. Public toilets are also near the Cafe. It's a shame the water quality isn't great here for a swim and there's no jetty to connect visitors to the river. Limited public use BBQs as well so bring your own

I was close by but on a side road near this location is a duck pond that has at least 5 species of birds that live as one happy family ️ just beautiful to see ️

This is a beautiful spot located close to Leach Hwy and well worth visiting. It is 30 minutes walk from my house and I come here regularly by bike or walking.
Evening is a good time to see the pelicans. There is a boat launching ramp and trailer parking - great place for canoeing/kayaking. Lo Quay restaurant is on the other end of the bridge with adequate parking, toilets, outdoor seating and table service under the trees with beautiful views of the Canning River. There is a good play area for children.
You can picnic on the foreshore between the new bridge and Riverton bridge.
HISTORY
Riverton Bridge was originally built with (I think) convict labor. It was narrow, rickety, and Shelley Bridge on Leach Hwy was added later.
RB was rebuilt some years ago to the same plan, but stronger and wider. A friend and myself were allowed to take the old railway sleepers/ties for firewood. We burned the old bridge!

My son and his GF took a picnic down there a few weeks ago but had to leave early because of the rats. Council?

A beautufil, quiet section of the river between Shelley Bridge and old Riverton Bridge. Plenty of bench seats, lovely trees, easy street parking and great river views. Lots of native birdlife and the black swans are most inquisitive! A very relaxing spot.

A strip of well-kept grass river bank for a quiet sit and contemplation. The absence of amenities and activities helps maintain the peace of this place.

Great little park, we loved seeing the jelly fish in the river wish there was a path to walk all the way around the river. But great playground for all ages of kids too.
