I had my Kevlar race suit re-sized which involved being basically unstitched and reassembled. Excellent job and means my suit fits perfectly again. 10/10!

I was going on a trip a few weeks ago and left everything to the last minute, including getting the heels replaced on my favourite boots. These folks not only managed to fit me in the day before I left but did a fantastic job at a great price.

The heels have held up to hours of walking around Sydney and are still going strong. Obviously I wouldn't expect to get a last minute job every time but I'm so grateful. The people were also super nice, 10/10 would recommend

Just good old fashioned service with a smile is what you can expect from this lovely lady who now owns the old Rieds Bootmakers…now renamed The Expert Bootmakers. My two piece Dainese suit needed a new larger gauge zipper to zip them together plus a few new press studs to secure the inner lining…. All of which was done with very caring attitude at a reasonable price. She also sorted me with some leather cleaner conditioner solution she makes herself, they’ve come up looking brand new. Definitely will be coming back for these type of repairs in the future. Highly recommended.

The Name on the door has changed but the service and quality are better than ever.no job too small. The Expert Bootmakers (formerly Reids) is your one stop shop, remotes, keys, shoes, gifts, engraving, they have it all.

Dropped off some shoes for fixing. The new owner (of 12 months) seems very nice and helpful. I'll comment on workmanship once I get my shoes back. Had to pay up front (due to customers not coming back to collect shoes). Decent value so far.

Shoes were fixed then and there. Service and prices were excellent. Highly recommend. Will be going here for all my future shoe issues:)

Reids have been fantastic every time I have used them. The buckles they replaced on my sandles (which broke) were better quality than the originals, their prices are fair and the staff couldn't be nicer. They truly will help you out with a job or product if they can. I recommend them highly!

Did a good job in re-soling a pair of boots. Service wasn’t the best though, employees bickering in front of me about where the boots were located. Also asked for one boot to be restitched and this was forgotten about. When I returned a they were unable to properly stitch them due to the sewing machine being under repair.

Dropped my leathers in for repair then after the due date for collection no-one picked up the phone for 2 weeks- does not inspire confidence.

Amazing knowledge and wonderful service here. We must look after skilled craftsmen in the village. Thank you

Small order purchased 4 weeks ago and still not delivered. Tried to phone but call unanswered, emailed to try and cancel but the said it was shipped but still waiting for it. I don’t recommend these people

Excellent work. Took a pair of my partners boots in that she'd worn almost to death and they've been restored like new. Katie knows her stuff and was great to deal with, definitely recommend.

The main zipper on my waxed cotton motorcycle jacket had become faulty and needed replacing. I took it to Reids Bootmakers thinking they might be able to do the job since I had dealings with them in the past. This time I dealt with Katie. Not only was it done in a very reasonable timeframe, I think it might be better than the original zipper. Very good job indeed done by Katie, who was also a pleasure to deal with. I Highly recommend Reids Bootmakers.

If these guys ever stopped trading my life would be over.simply the BEST i have EVER come across and I will use no other cobbler!

I got my Redwing Iron Rangers resoled here recently. They did an amazing job and the boots look as good as new. Will definitely come back next time they need a resole.

Expert work and lovely people to deal with. Have altered and repaired [motorcycle] riding jackets, pants and boots for me on numerous occasions, and stretched and repaired walking shoes for me as well.
Nothing too hard, little and major alterations, all done promptly, at a very fair price, and with a friendly smile.

Very happy with the work they have done on my shoes. Took a pair of sneakers in to be repaired as my dog had ripped the tongues out and was very pleased with the work as they look brand new. Would definitely recommend, in fact I have already told another friend to go here for repairs
