The staff is friendly.
The store has an air conditioner in the corner, so it's really hot. Even the air conditioner doesn't work very well. There is no humidity and temperature control at all to the point where it feels uncomfortable to be in the store.

Spicy sauce chicken burger? I ate it and it didn't taste good lol. The vegetables weren't very fresh and they were roughly sprinkled so I opened the bag of the burger and it all fell on the floor.

And the product just doesn't taste good lol.

French fries are delicious

Just ordered two breast pieces of hot honey chicken - despite the order being repeated back to me got a tiny wing and a breast. Chicken was dry and old. Not returning.

Rooster roll could have had more chicken then stuffing but atleast they served you and quickly

Went through drive thru for chips and this was just abit after 10am waited 10min and didn't get served at all tried to walk in and doors where locked. Website said was opened at 10am instead went to maccas got served straight away.

Could have been perfect if staff would learn how to smile

This was originally a 4 star review see below, but something has changed.

Tonight we ordered a bunch of food on this stores website and selected delivery the site accepted our order and said it would be delivered at 530, it didnt so I called and was told there were "no drivers" so it would be delayed.

Why are you accepting delivery orders with no active drivers.

By 6 still no delivery so called again and was told still no drivers. I requested a friend to be able to pick it up and since it had been sitting out for an hour could it be remade. They agreed and my friend went to the store to collect it.

She was given a small chips for the inconvenience, top notch work there RR.

When she arrived back with the food it was stone cold. The chips were soggy the burgers were a mess the lettuce was rancid, this was supposed to be a treat for the kids but ended up going straight in the bin.

Great location, if you need a quick feed and your in the woodvale area and need a quick bite this place wont let you down, nothing to write home about but its a good location over all.

Went through drive through and got served by a handsome hunk of a man named Luca. Was very kind and positive towards taking our order. Definitely brightened up the vibe and will 100% be coming to see this man more. Apart from this great service the food was pretty mid.

This red rooster is awful. The food was cold and the potatoes were sloppy. It is completely ridiculous that you can not take one thing out of the combos and can’t choose how many chicken nuggets you get. NEVER COMING BACK!

The service at this store is rubbish.you have to explain to them what a chicken leg is, tonight my dad went over and they said they had no chicken and it’d be a 45min wait, then tried to palm off a “chicken” that was barely the size of a 20 cent piece as a quarter chicken with chips.they need better management and better staff that actually know what chicken is, because this is constant with this store

Being a fan of a competitors fried chicken, I thought I'd sample RR's version expecting something similar to the 11 herbs & spices. Although the portion sizes were pleasantly ample, the chicken was tough and undercooked but the breaded coating was too thick and overdone, bordering on burnt and almost unedible. Too disappointed to want to sample again. Really bad!
I will only revisit for a 1/4 chicken and chips, if ever again.

We were served absolute garbage by this store. We purchased a whole chicken and asked for it to be cut up. Upon opening the box what we saw was a massacred chicken that had been thrown in the box from what looked like the other side of the room with absolutely no care at all. I had planned to take this chicken to a family gathering but due to the state of it, I was too embarrassed to. I ended up buying a chicken from IGA and cutting it up myself. Now that you have McDonalds just next door I hope this means you will lift your game. Wouldn't hurt to give the store a thorough clean whilst you're at it. Zero chance of me ever returning to waste more money.

Waited at drivethru for 5 mins after Ruchi L said be with you in a minute. Finally order and paid and now waiting in parking lot for my food for another 5 minutes.
Thanks for the time you gave me to write a review. May update my review if my 1/4 chicken and chips is great. Oh another guy has just pulled up next to me to wait for his food. Hope he doesn't have to wait as long.

Absolutely horrendous service and the food here is beyond disgusting. The restaurant manager RICHIE has zero people skills and was yelling across the station at her young employees and was extremely rude towards us customers and has failed miserably in handling and managing this potential restaurant. Definitely need a new management to take over this poorly run red rooster store or please engage in retraining your managers atleast!

Mostly grab drive through here for our lazy Friday dinners. Consistently adequate food and service.

Horrible service today. Waited in drive through for a long time, never got served. Went to the window (hoping to get served there) and saw no one at the window. And when a worker came through, looked at us and proceeded to take the another person's order while we were there waiting at the window.
Absolutely disgusting! If we could do a 0 star rating, that would be more appropriate.

Great food always go back for them. However there's a young lady with loads of ear rings on each ear that worked on this particular day. Unfriendly, easily annoyed and not happy when serving people.

We recently had a family meal from the Woodvale Rooster and it was absolutely amazing. It was a Friday night and everything was ready quickly and was comfortably the best fast food take away we've had. We tried veggies and roast potatoes instead of the usual just chicken and chips and it was so good. Accompanied by spicy chicken. Perfect! Well done Rooster team!

Last night I went to Red Rooster for dinner. The customer service was amazing! The staff were nice and were amazing when I asked to swap a part of my order at the window. The food was fresh and was given to me in a timely manner. I don't think I've had chips as good as these in a long time.

Great food not very expensive and they have something for the whole family. They get your order out in a timely manner so you don't have to wait for what seems like an eternity. The food is fresh, tastes delicious and you can even eat in at the restaurant side of it if you feel like doing that.

Haven't had takeaway for months, came here couldn't order over microphone as it was too muffeld, had to order at window and young lad at window was chastised for serving us at window, we explained the microphone couldn't be heard only to be told by manager in a very rude tone that it wasn't his problem. Received food later and I had a bit of rib cage stuffed in with chicken, the sweet potato was gross and tasteless. You just lost a customer and apologies to young lad at window for the managers bad attitude.
