34Great choice of wood-fired pizzas - the crab and chilli special on a garlic and pesto base was amazing. Also plenty of other Italian menu options other than pizza. Bit of a cafe ambience, but that's OK for us. Seating outside and in.
You'll find quality food here, well crafted pizza and coffee.
With the friendly staff, the services are needless to say.
Located in a quiet street, a great local place for family gathering or catch up.
Coffee was good as were the Eggs Benedict. Apparently, they make great pizzas, according to my friend who goes there often. I didn't notice any Star Trek memorabilia so if you don't like Star Trek, you'll be fine! And if you are a fan, well, the name will tickle your inner trekkie. Cute collection of cups on the wall too.
Wow, this wood fired pizza is amazing! It's the best I've ever had in Perth. The crust was perfectly baked and the toppings were spread evenly and generously.
The service was friendly and attentive, and our food was served quickly and efficiently. I'm definitely planning on coming back to this restaurant soon.
Good value home made meals, great coffee & friendly staff. Wood fired pizzas are delicious & base is crisp & tasty.
Nice little coffee shop in a beautiful quiet part of Salter Point, little pricey but food quality is good.
Would be great to see more options on the menu.
My dedicated local, friendly staff, great food, great coffee. If you live in the area and haven't been, def give this place a try
Went back yet again, the pizza on special pesto, crab and chilli was amazing! Margareta was dissapointing as I expected it to be like the other pizzas with fresh basil, Mozerella and tomato sauce but I got a kids pizza with no fresh bazil and just shredded Mozerella.
Went back again to try more pizzas and the pasta and the swlmon and they were delightful. Great Indian chefs doing some great italian food! A very unpretentious place with fantastic pizzas. European style with think crusts and few toppings making it more flavourful. Woodfired in front of you and reasonably priced. Worth the trip out to salter point. We look forward to trying their pastas next time. They were also quite child and pet friendly which was nice. Coffee was average tho.
Hot chips are the bomb! Great size serving for a large (teens couldn't finish) chicken Panini was nice. Milkshakes - average. Chai latte frappe -. Good casual cafe in Salter Point.
I went here twice the lady server was nice to us. On my second try when i went for tea, the male server/chef who serve my tea was a bit rude. He didnt even bother to gently place the tea pot on the table. So some milk spilled in the table.
Thanks
Had lunch with friends a few days ago. Very impressed. Great menu with the usual suspects and some interesting tasty alternatives. All four 9f us really enjoyed our various dishes. Well priced too. Definitely a find.
This place is kind of casual. Orders are placed at the counter and not taken at your table. You will need to get your own menu from the counter prior to taking a seat as well.
This is a BYO restaurant. The best I could do for myself was fetch a bottle of Bundaberg Ginger beer from the fridge to purchase.
For entree, my wife and I shared salt and pepper calamari. Whilst it was nice and tender calamari, I thought the salt and pepper flavour lacked taste. There was no pop or spice about it really.
Unfortunately my wife ordered the Lamb shoulder and I ordered the Scotch fillet. At the counter, I was informed they didn't have any Lamb shoulder to which my wife swapped to the special of Lamb rack.
Soon after ordering. The waitress came to our table to tell us they also had no Scotch fillet so I changed to the Special of Fillet steak.
I thought this was a little disappointing. The menus were only printed pieces of paper and nothing special. It wouldn't be difficult to print pages suited to the meals of the day. It also would be simple to have a menu board which could be kept up to date. It wouldn't be hard to have a menu of actual available meals.
The meals once they came were of restaurant quality and of minimal complaints. Only I was never asked how I would like my steak cooked and I felt it was a little on the well done side of medium.
I felt it was kind of over priced for the casual service. The fillet steak was $38.50 and the Scotch was $40.50. For a decent restaurant and the meal I received I think this was reasonably priced however it came with only casual service which may make it a little expensive. Of note, I never received a refund when I was informed the Scotch was not available. It was only $2 less and I never asked for it either.
I suggest it stays popular more for its location. The clientele were of an older demographic and I suspect a reflection of the local population. I would say 3/4 of the customers were more elderly. Maybe 60 years or older. I usually wouldn't mention the age of the other patrons however it was noticeable.
Milan the owner is really good chef and the woodfired pizzas are famous not just in the surrounding area but people come for from various metropolitan locations.
Good service and relaxing atmosphere.
The dunny at the back could do with an upgrade if you happen to need to use it.
Great wood fired pizza, wide range of meals to choose from, friendly polite staff, plenty of parking in a quite location. I'll be back!
Very good coffee and very good lunch food. A well made long black and delicious burgers and sandwiches.
One of the best coffee shops about. Best coffee and cakes. Always go here when in the area. Staff are amazing, always make us welcome. Big tick. Definitely recommend
Coffee - Long black
Taste - Early bitter note with a smooth almost hazelnut after taste left on the tongue. Easy to drink. Would say that is would be nice with almond milk.
Food - wood fired pizza are some of the best in the area.
This place is definitely a hidden little gem.
Had a lovely plate of Calamari here, definitely a hidden gem. They got my eye with the almost Star Trek name of the cafe however, proves marketing works.
As always, the quality and value of the food was good. I enjoy the range and taste of the meals better than any other restaurant that we have attended in Perth in recent years. Highly recommended. Ernie L
Lovely decor, great food and great service. All food is freshly made and the salads are fantastic. We were a group of 9 in for lunch and all our meals came out in a timely manner
