Providore reviews
62Great place with so many goodies. Stayed for lunch toasted sandwich and coffee. Staff lovely
It was the first winery we visited, fully expecting to purchase at least half a dozen bottles. It was around 4pm, there were no other customers, and the two staff were more interested in their own chatter than us. We were most happy to spend our money elsewhere.
Shopped up big time. Excellent products. Could have spent another hour scanning and looking
Poor experience, visited yesterday to find ourselves as the only people in the store. No greeting from the staff member who saw us at the counter but continued to place stock on tables. Left without making a purchase.
You can do a full tasting of the wines they sell, for $5. If you buy a bottle the tasting fee is not charged. Very educated employees, asked so much questions and they answered with the relevant information. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere is great. They do coffee too and sell many other products. Must visit, have to say clean toilets.
Loved the shop presentation,
lovely French gentleman with the pate tastings, fantastic products to purchase with large amount on show, however It is amazing how one person's poor attitude and rudeness can leave a poor taste about a place, and an experience the tall Blonde lady serving at the counter in the afternoon of the 29th October, was the rudest, even our children asked us as to why she was so rude towards us.
Disappointed. The seville orange marmalade was full of rind which made it extremely bitter and it contained very little marmalade/jam It was inedible and I had to throw the jar away, at $14 a jar it was a huge disappointment.
Enjoyed breakfast and coffee, then went to browse the chocolates and then to Providore delights the Summer Chilli Sauce is delicious and for a hit of hotness the Peach and Habenero Hot Sauce is amazing, also cinnamon fig jam is very nice. Would love to go there again. They have a good variety of spices too.
This was a very interesting experience, with very different tastes to the wine, very enlightening and enjoyable. Especially the rose made out of Shiraz. Mind blown
1: 30pm Wednesday, shut, welcome to Margaret River, will open when we want regardless of our listed opening hours. Meh
Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area, everything is so beautifully arranged, good selection of jams, olive oils and giftware.
Nice atmosphere too to enjoy a glass of wine.
The only negative was the staff member behind the counter could’ve been more friendly and attentive as we enquired of a product to see if they had any more in stock and she didn’t even offer to check for us.
Other than that the overall experience of the store is definitely worth visiting!
Everything about this place is nice! I love Truffle Oil and Coffee! Love even the little farm outside!
The produce is amazing. Shame we can’t taste now due to covid but that isn’t providores fault. The staff were not very friendly which really affects the experience.
Maybe it would be nice to know that you dont take money as payment before we spend half an hour shopping.
Wont be back
Great place to stop by if you've visited the chocolate factory or you just want to visit a winery with a few and products you won't find anywhere else.
Also a beautiful place to photograph and relax if you're a wine drinker and a foodie.
This place is amazing you can get Hams, chutney, wine, chocolate Liquor, spices so many things to choose from
Fantastic range of local made products, and the best Rose I've ever tried! Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Lovely range of delicious goods. Shame about the unwelcoming staff. You’d think buying $60 of products would at least get a thank you. You don’t have to mean it, just say it I hope the staff put a little more effort into other customers.
Wanted to buy everything so I could do a massive cook up.so many exciting products. Price is a tad xy.
The products you can buy from Providore are excellent quality and taste amazing. They have sauces, curds, flavoured oils, baking goods and much more. They also have wine tasting and wines. I can definitely recommend the passion fruit and lemon curds as they are delicious. While a bit on the pricey side you get what you pay for. Well worth visiting.
