Rhys pierced my conch today, and was professional and knowledgeable. The studio was clean and had such incredible artwork adorning the walls. Couldn't recommend enough.

Pretty good shop! Oz did a lovely job, perfect tattoo, exactly what i wanted. The girl at the reception was so helpful, i just explained her once what i would like to have, she made a design perfectly as i wanted; in just one go!
Price is normal too! What else do you need?

Went to primitive spontaneously to extend my bamboo tattoo on my left foot. Marc did a great job and we had a nice chat. Everyone’s very nice and helpful! Thank you for the nice tattoo! I would definitely go there for another tattoo.

Work was done really nicely however was my first tattoo and the artist barely spoke to me just told me to lie down and when I asked if I could sit up after it was done didn’t respond and walked off. The young girl at the counter was also rude. The staff wasn’t welcoming at all. Except when I went for my initial consultation Travis was really nice. Disappointed at their service. Didn’t try and make me feel comfortable at all considering it was my first time as the artist didn’t even say hi or crack a smile.

I’ve been there for 3 of my tattoos. First my back and then my whole upper arm (done in two sittings). I had two different artists for the two seperate pieces of work (Travis did my back and Oz did my arm). A little pricey but it’s on my body for life so there’s no point stinging out and spending less dollars to get a worse result. Was very happy with all the pieces of work I got done there. I found the whole experience enjoyable (despite the pain ahah). Everyone in the shop was accomodating and patient and if you needed a break there was no hesitation to give me one. Upset I can only give 5 stars but I’d 10/10 recommend

Very disappointed I came here with high expectations and came out with a wonky uneven tattoo I even came back for a touch up and it looks even worse.

Overpriced. I went in to get a quote for 2 rings around my arm and was quoted $450. I feel like the tattoo artist just made up a quote on the spot. She was rude as well.

Great work, loved my tattoo. Chick at front desk could be more welcoming but Jake Axl was lovely, quick and loved the final result.

Got my first tattoo today took just under an hour cost was between $180 and $280 it will help as a focus point for ptsd flashbacks so worth it staff where nice big thanks to Georgina

Wish I did my research before getting two pieces done here. Overpriced and unaccomodating when it comes to tattoo designs. Go on Instagram, do some research and look for plenty of other talented artists around perth (north perth and freo have amazing artists at half the cost)

10/10 experience at primitive, i had a larger peice done and it exceeded all expectations. Petra was amazing, her work (especially her mandalas) is top class and i cannot recommend her highly enough. They were super easy to deal with and flexible with bookings and reschedulings. Thank you all so much

Petra was amazing from start to finish on my half sleeve. I spoke to her initially after being totally impressed when I saw a piece she had done on a friend, and she created something incredible for me. She is extremely talented, with both her design work and tattooing ability is excellent. All the guys who work there are friendly as and I will 100% be going back and getting more work done.

Had a job done on Friday by Marc and absolutely love it he smashed it out of the ballpark and can't wait to go back to get it finished off
